House Prices In The US Are Growing Everywhere Except Here
In one state, homes have appreciated by an average of 12.8 percent year-over-year.

House prices across the US rose by 6.6 percent between the first quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency, with homes appreciating in all but one US state.

The only place where house prices declined in Q1 2024 was Washington, DC, which saw a drop of -1.5 percent year-over-year.

The fastest growth was recorded in Vermont, where homes saw average appreciations of 12.8 percent in the space of a year, followed by New Jersey (11.6 percent) and New York (10.9 percent).
