Job Posting: Aerospace Design Engineer (f/m/d)
Job Location: Augsburg or Wessling, Bavaria, DE
Working on-site is required
We are looking for passionate Aerospace Structure Designers Airframe (m/w/d) who will work on all Airframe structural design aspects, including processes and procedures for the development of metallic and composite components.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
3D modelling, 2D drawings using CATIA V5 or V6
Engineering Bill of Material (Part List) and additional technical documentation
Preliminary and detailed design solutions (including selection of standard parts) for composite and metallic structure
Checking of 3D and 2D drawings
Coordinate with other departments for the development of design solutions
Support to production and repair solutions
Contact person for third party supplier for dedicated work package management
Planning and co-operation on structural topics
Participation to design reviews
Defining specifications and Means of Compliance
Minimum Requirements (must have):
University degree: Engineering
Minium of 8 years’ experience in Aerospace / Aviation sector
Minium of 5 years’ experience about metallic and/or composite design
Good experience CATIA V5 or V6
Good knowledge of MS-Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Familiar with EASA CS/FAR 25 Programs
Experience with processes in manufacturing
Very good English language skills
Desired Competencies (should have):
knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE is an advantage
Structured, independent and solution oriented way of working
International mind-set, experienced in liaison/control of third parties
Good communication skills and good Team worker, having an analytical and process oriented mind-set
German language skills is a plus
