If you weren't lucky enough to be at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity yourself then you must have felt the buzz regardless, it's inescapable! But what were the lions roaring about? 🦁 Here are the highlights from the ShowHeroes perspective 👇 🤖 #AI topics were prevalent but practical – the hype has cleared and there was more focus on what marketers and advertisers can achieve with AI today. 🤝 Cannes was a hotbed for M&A, consolidation, and partnership talks, more so than last year. 🗣️ The most talked about topic was retail media – Walmart, Target, Amazon, and others were out in force displaying their retail media networks. 📺 Close behind were #CTV and #streaming, which are continuing to grow and are outstripping linear TV’s former shine more and more. 🤳 Selfies abounded as creators and influencers were showing off their curated content. Retail, CPG, and luxury brand marketing are all benefiting off influencer marketing and authenticity is the new name of the game! As always it was a wonderful opportunity to meet old and new clients and partners. We can't wait for next year!
