Poland Talks came at a moment of enormous political transition in Poland, and we couldn't be prouder of the impact we achieved together with New Community Foundation | Fundacja Nowej Wspólnoty. Thank you to Wawrzyniec Smoczynski (he/him) and Emilia Kaczmarek for your amazing collaboration! And a special thank you to Robert Bosch Stiftung for the support that made this program possible.

Can people holding opposing political views have productive and bonding conversations? Yes, they can! Watch the English-language video (link below the post) summarizing Poland Talks, a joint project of Fundacja Nowej Wspólnoty | New Community Foundation and My Country Talks where we matched 1122 politically opposed citizens for one-on-one conversations in Poland! There is plenty of knowledge and know-how on how to fight polarization stemming from the project – on whom to address first, how to structure conversations, what topics to chose and much more which will inform our upcoming projects. We are sharing the output in our English language report – to be found below too. I had the pleasure to lead Poland Talks together with Hanna Israel, with support from Emilia Kaczmarek and Sara Elizabeth Cooper. The project was financed by the Robert Bosch Stiftung – thank you Nina Lüders and Markus Lux for your continuous trust, support and shared belief in the need to address polarization in Europe!
