📢 Today is the big announced event at Severt! 🎉 Exclusively invited, selected customers are experiencing the NxtCut machine live in action. CEO Carl Gustaf Göransson opened the event with a heartfelt speech, followed by an informative presentation on the mid-size shear by Krischan Wolters. The machine was thoroughly inspected, and open questions were addressed immediately. We are especially pleased with the international participation from foreign customers from Spain, the Nordics & Baltics, and France. We will catch up on the event later, but for now, we can say the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. We are excited to see what comes next! #BigEvent #NxtCut #Machine #InnovationLive #InternationalNetworking #CustomerExperience #PositiveFeedback #MetalRecycling #MetalRecyclingSolutions #GreenFuture

LINDEMANN’s EtaPress took center stage when local broadcaster Südwestrundfunk recorded a two-hour documentary, featuring an in-depth interview with our Technical Service expert, Stefan Kain, at the Fritz Eckhardt GmbH scrapyard. During the interview, the host highlighted LINDEMANN's pioneering development of a hydraulic process for pressing scrap packages 120 years ago – a process fundamentally unchanged until now. Stefan explained the process: “That's right. In this steel box, the material is first pushed to the end of the box wall with a so-called first compactor. Then a second compactor comes from above, which compacts the material vertically, so we have a strand. Both compactors remain stationary and have thus reduced the box space. Finally comes the final compactor, which uses the highest pressure to form a cube from this material. The material is deformed, interlocked, and wedged so it is as tight and stable as possible. When this package is pressed, there is a door that opens, and the package is pushed out. The material is squashed into a small dense metal cube.” Interviewer: “That is important for further processing?” Stefan: “That's correct. If only loose material were to enter the melt in this way, the density would be so low that it might oxidize above the melt. However, if we press the material into solid packets beforehand, we have a corresponding density, which then ensures that the material can dip into the melt and dissolve there.“ To listen to the full interview, click this link: https://lnkd.in/em_35h_P #MetalRecycling #MetalRecyclingSolutions #RecycleForChange #RecycleResponsibly #GreenFuture #RecycleForABetterFuture #Baler #interview #radio #doccumentry

🌟 Highlights from IARC 2024 in Antwerp 🇧🇪 We had an incredible time at the International Automotive Recycling Congress (IARC) 2024 in Antwerp last week. This premier event brought together 300 industry leaders from the automotive and recycling sectors! Our LINDEMANN colleagues Michael Pogritz, Daniel Deegener, Guillaume Child, and Freek van Vonderen were on-site, and remarkably managed the event! Our LINDEMANN team engaged in insightful discussions, particularly with representatives from Galloo and BST. These conversations were invaluable, and we had the pleasure of visiting BST’s sites in Willebroek and Kalloo afterward. A big thank you to the IARC organizers and everyone who participated. We're excited about the future of metal recycling and the partnerships we're building! 🤝 #MetalRecycling #MetalRecyclingSolutions #RecycleForChange #RecycleResponsibly #GreenFuture #RecycleForABetterFuture #IARC2024 #Antwerp #events

We are delighted to spotlight our customers, Metalloy, and the work they’ve been doing with the help of our trusty machines! Since 1974, Metalloy has excelled in reprocessing high-performance alloys in North Hamburg, serving prestigious clients like Airbus. Their mission: handle aerospace swarf and turnings, transforming them into valuable, high-quality materials. But the challenge was immense – tightly interwoven swarf curls needed to be crushed into manageable pieces. Enter the Lindemann ZB turning crusher. This powerful machine crushes swarf and turnings, making them flowable for easy storage and transportation. With a 730mm feed opening, 900mm rotating hammers, and a 90kW motor, the ZB 90 73 efficiently processes various materials, including steel, aluminum, brass, and special alloys. Specialized liners and wear plates extend its service life, while an emission control system enhances workplace safety. A standout feature is the electric-driven cylinder, allowing operators to tilt open the crusher for easy maintenance. Since commissioning in July 2021, Metalloy has seen remarkable improvements, transforming aerospace waste into high-quality alloys and achieving goals for a cleaner earth. We are proud to partner with Metalloy, showcasing our commitment to innovative metal recycling solutions. 🔧 Find out more about the "Metalloy" case study here: https://lnkd.in/g7rfRKCW #MetalRecycling #MetalRecyclingSolutions #RecycleForChange #RecycleResponsibly #GreenFuture #RecycleForABetterFuture #Metalloy #Engineering
