Great success at the Oelde City Run and Schwalben Tour! 🥇🚴♂️ At the Oelde City Run, our employees started with great motivation and demonstrated that team spirit and endurance are highly valued in our organization. In a very competitive field, we won the individual corporate run over 5 kilometers. Additionally, we are thrilled to have secured 2nd place in the women's ranking as a 3-member team, while the best men's team finished in 4th place. Another highlight was the Schwalben Tour on Sunday, where our team impressively achieved 2nd place in the team ranking. The participants successfully completed routes ranging from 40 to 150 kilometers and ended the day in a relaxed gathering. Recently, our management and worker’s council have invited to the “Meeting of Generations”: For the first time, beside the anniversaries and pensioners, the exam graduates from 2023 and 2024 were also honored in a joint ceremony. While our business is mainly about machines and parts, what lies at its core is about making a real impact on people's lives. 2 years ago, we visited the Renyu Learning House in Beijing, a social facility for mentally or physically disabled orphans. The visit touched us in many regards and we decided to support the setup of a new orphanage in the city of Pingdingshan in Henan in 2021, which we visited last month. After an eventful day with singing, playing, handicraft work and other activities together with the kids, we strongly felt that our small contribution did make a big difference. Our project certainly was one of the best investments we have ever made and one that we are going to continue over the next years. Check out the video from our visit! https://lnkd.in/eNiXBQbs
