The family-owned company Gebr. Pfeiffer is in demand worldwide whenever it comes to process technology for the cement, gypsum, lime, clay, mining, minerals and solid fuels industries. For individual challenges, we offer suitable solutions. We were the first company to grind cement in vertical mills in a resource-saving way and to push the drive power of VRMs to well over 10,000 kW. Our focus is on the topics of efficiency, sustainability and digitization.
We combine excellent process technology with reliable machines and plants which is attested by more than 3,000 installed Pfeiffer vertical mills in over 100 countries on all continents as well as over 2,000 other machines such as classifiers, dryers, lime hydrators and other grinding systems.
We design and implement single solutions as well as complete turnkey plants and we also modernize existing plants, even after decades. In addition, we offer modular grinding units which are delivered largely pre-assembled.
Sustainability is in the DNA of our products in the form of efficiency, reliability and durability. Thus, by using them, the CO2 footprint and the consumption of resources are reduced. In this respect, digitization and AI are also paving new paths for our industry. Artificial intelligence allows to optimize mill operation without experienced personnel. The basis for increased sustainability via digitization is provided by a comprehensive data collection and data preparation as well as energy, money, and resource-saving digital tools. Practical automation solutions and a CMS system that goes far beyond mere monitoring of the mill gearbox complete our digital offering.
