With our internal program “Who knows teaches” we create a room for knowledge sharing with other colleagues. Experts in certain fields hold short sessions where everyone can participate. This promotes continuous learning and the exchange of best practices.   Before his session on our EMobility strategy Christopher Schäckermann, Vice President EMobility at DKV Mobility, says: “Who knows teaches is a great idea. I can help my colleagues to understand the importance of EMobility for sustainable mobility and share how we have established a completely new business model. 𝟮𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗚𝗢-𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮: 𝗔 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗦𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗚 🚚   January 1st, 2004 at 0:00 marked the official start for toll boxes in Austria. After only 15 minutes the first customer already drove through a toll station with his new toll box. Welcoming the first customer with his toll box so quickly was only possible because of the good cooperation between us and ASFINAG. 🤝   After it was decided that GO toll will be introduced in addition to the existing route toll and vignettes, the first talks with ASFINAG on a partnership for the introduction of toll boxes began in 2002. Today, we are happy to share a path of steady development and continuously improving offers to our customers for more than 30 years already.     ℹ Funfact: First 120.00 toll boxes were planned for the start in 2004. Therefore, we now introduced our new online customer DKV help center, a digital addition to our customer service. Markus Präßl, Managing Director at DKV Mobility, is excited about the new feature: „Introducing DKV help center is an important step on our “Customer First” roadmap. With smart search, tutorials and product related FAQs it is a great addition to answer our customer’s needs. Adding the missing pieces: Over 160 added Petrol fuel stations in Croatia and Slovenia assure full network coverage in 4 Balkan countries⛽ The partnership between Petrol Group and DKV Mobility is one of long history and great success. In 1983 we were teaming up by adding the first Petrol fuel stations to our network. Now, after 41 years, our great partnership has evolved to full Petrol network coverage in Serbia, Bosnia, Slovenia and Croatia.  "Petrol is one of the leading supply networks in Slovenia and Croatia. 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗢𝟮 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 🤝 With our Green Pledge, we have committed to reducing our Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) by 50% by 2023 compared to 2019. While we have successfully reached our target and in fact, reduced our CO2 emissions in our own business operations by 50.4%, we also actively take responsibility for the remaining CO2 emissions of 7,583 tons. We are doing this by: 🔹 Continuing our support for a Gold Standard climate protection project in Cambodia by reducing the use of fossil fuels and substituting them for biogas 🔹 Investing in an impactful biochar project in Germany to remove carbon from the atmosphere whilst helping farmers to safe water for irrigation. To welcome them already we again organized a welcome day. A nice tradition where these young talents get to know their mentors, trainers and other apprentices and students before officially starting in a few weeks. After a cozy breakfast in our cantine in Ratingen the whole group travelled to Topgolf Oberhausen. The perfect place to have fun together, connect with the new colleagues and to get to know each other. 🏌️♂️ What makes this yearly welcome day so special is that it is mainly organized by our apprentices and students.
