OK, I need some help. Which Dark Tower story has the scene from the move when Jake is kidnapped and Roland shoots blindly into the cornfield to kill the person or thing that took Jake?
What's on your mind?

Hello everyone!
I'm sure most of you have noticed the little site notice appearing on the wiki about the MediaWiki 1.39 update. I just wanted to give a little bit more information about it.
What's being updated? Mostly coding underneath the hood. There will be no major design changes. Consider it like replacing the battery of a car - the car will still be the same outwardly, but it just needs some updates underneath.
All Fandom wikis will be updating to MediaWiki 1.39 in the coming month. I don't have an exact timeline at this moment, but expect it to happen in mid-March or April. During the migration to 1.39, the wikis will be set in read-only mode. It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes (major wikis could need more hours). One week before migration, a banner will appear on communities to let you know the migration is scheduled. For one week after the migration, a similar banner to let users know the community is now on the new version.
Most importantly, if you experience any bugs after the move, please report them to me either on my message wall or Discord. We've done our best to squash and take note of any bugs in our testing phase, but any additional pokes would be greatly appreciated!
Please check out the help page on Community Central for a changelog and further information. ^^

I'm wondering if 19 is the number of times they had a cycle of trying to reach the tower. That's why everything feels like it resonates for the Ka Tet
What is the actual, chronological order for the dark tower sieries, without adding any unnessicary books?
Nothing is fiction, reality is subjective and were all stories in the end! Bye
_____Minor spoilers____
Just want to point out these 3 plot holes i noticed and wonder if anyone else noticed or has any thoughts on them.
1. book 2 they are headed north on the coast of the western sea but, at one point it is said that if Eddie looked right he would see the sea and left he sees the hills. (dose not compute)
2. book 7 after they kill the herd of deer and sue is so amped up that she had forgot about the numbness in her hands and (feet) the night before.
3. when Roland is fighting the urge to go to the tower regardless of the sneeches and he is running low on ammo he thinks he has enough for one more reload, 12 shots he thinks. (however he only has the one gun at this point).
The song "7 Days to the wolves" by Nightwish was inspired by Book five.
No disrespect intended, and in no seriousness.....Just for fun....If you could choose any known past or present actor to play the character of Roland (or any of the characters) Who would YOU choose? For Roland, I'm thinking, (as other fans have mentioned,) Mathew McCaughney. (sp?) Also, and I have not ever seen this one mentioned, but I think Andrew Lincoln would be even better!!
Hi, Apologies if this has been asked before, but which editions of the Dark Tower series contain artwork? I thought all the hardcovers did, I have V,VI,VII of the Hodder & Stoughton and they have artwork, but BCA hardcover edition of Wizard and Glass has none, I was hoping to see Dave Mckean's art :-(
I also have the Sphere paperback editions of 1&2 and the both have beautiful colour illustrations, but nothing in the Warner edition of The Waste Lands despite the matching cover.
I have searched for the info online, but I haven't managed to get very far.
Thanks for any help, Andy

Does anyone else genuinely believe that maybe aspects of the dark tower legend is real? Like the evidence is almost overwhelming. You have the original poem by Robert Browning, you have the tower card in the tarot deck, story’s of the tower of Babylon, and C.S. Lewis wrote a story called the dark tower. Maybe I’m just trying to find an excuse to make the series real and the tower real but honestly I might just be paranoid. Anybody else have anymore examples maybe? Or evidence? Also I need some friends who are big fans of this series so maybe let’s make some friends too while we are at it?
<------------TAKE THIS PICTURE DOWN AND PUT UP AN ACCURATE ONE PLEASE! For your Fathers sake!! I have zero issues with Black people but Roland Deschain is NOT black so correct this small oversite por favor.
I just read the whole series over the last few months and finished the other day... I've been wondering if Roland is moving forward through time with his cycles, or is he stuck in time? Does he repeat the same time line and always pull Eddie, Jake and Susanna? Or does he move forward along the keystone time line pulling different mates. I imagine him pulling different mates from different eras, starting with new York in the 16-1700's, Or maybe even before from whatever village existed there that was the the anchor spot even before ... Then continuing to pull mates from different 'whens' up to the story we read, then on into the future. Which opens up another thought...if the keystone time line is moving forward, is the Midworld time line as well? If that why Giliad has been gone for so long, because Roland keeps recycling but the world continues to move on, Getting older and older with every cycle?... Tough maybe that doesn't work because his cycle seems to just be the last leg from the desert on, not all the way back... But maybe his memory compensates for this adding the lost time to a fuzzy memory, part of how time is slippery. My thoughts are just rambling here... 🤔
Why is the home page URL named like that?
I was listening to the song "Ghost Town" by Adam Lambert one of these days and suddenly it came to my mind: is Adam telling us Roland's story in the lyrics?
Here are some evidences:
"Died last night in my dreams" - maybe a reference to Roland dreams about Jake.
"I tried to believe
In God and James Dean" - maybe a reference to Eddie Dean. If I'm not wrong, Eddie Dean and James Dean are look-alikes.
"Walked into the flames
Called out your name
But there was no answer" - maybe a reference to Susan Delgado.
"All the machines
Had been disconnected" - maybe a reference to the Dogans, the robots, portals and tecnology that still existis in Mid-World.
"Time was thrown at the wind
And all of my friends
Had been disaffected" - a clear definition of Roland's quest to the Tower.
"Now, I'm searching for trust
In a city of rust
A city of vampires" - maybe a reference to the Calla plot, including Callahan story with the vampires in New York.
"There's no one left in the world
I'm gunslingin'
Don't give a damn if I go
Down, down, down
I got a voice in my head that keeps singing
Oh, my heart is a ghost town" - a clear description of Mid-World, the Gunslingers and how everyone Roland ever cared about ended up dead (this is why his heart would be a ghost town).
Let me know what you guys think of it.
Long days and pleasant nights.
