A constant infusion of coffee is a requirement when there are only a few hours to work ahead of a major deadline or looming exam. And when the stir-craziness sets in after hours of studying, getting out of the house and parking at one of Dallas’ best coffee shops is a smart change of scenery.

Sadly, too many coffee shops are too noisy or offer sketchy Wi-Fi, making them not ideal. Every spot on this map serves up a safe place with good eats, plenty of caffeine, and, in some cases, sweets or boozy libations as a reward.

Comfy booths, free Wi-Fi, and cozy surroundings make all of Ascension’s locations excellent spots to get a lot of work done. Oh, and most locations have a dog-friendly patio in case Fido needs to come along as moral support.

This is the kind of coffee shop that actively encourages folks to stay awhile, whether to have a meeting, work, sit and read, or sip as much coffee as they like. It can be a little loud, so it’s not necessarily ideal for focus work, but if the hustle and bustle fuels you then it’s a great place to land.
