Abstract: The network lifetime often faces great challenges for wireless multi-hop networks since the nodes are typically self-powered in the networks. Intelligent multipoint relays (MPR) selection and energy efficiency have recently been considered to be the major solutions which address to suppress unnecessary messages and reduce energy consumption in the networks, respectively. After extensive studies, a strategy based on Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR), together with residual energy aware multipoint relays selection (SRE-MPR) is proposed in this work. In SRE-MPR, a generic model of energy consumption is introduced where SINR is also taken into account. Simulation results demonstrate that…outstanding performance can be achieved in comparison with classical Optimized Link State Routing Protocol (OLSR) and Residual Energy-based OLSR (REOLSR2) on the number of alive nodes, throughput and overhead, respectively.

Abstract: With the rapid development of the national economy, traffic demand is increasing, traffic congestion, traffic violations and other phenomena occur frequently, which has become a common problem faced by various cities. Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is an effective way to solve road traffic problems. Aiming at the optimization of urban road traffic information acquisition system, a constrained optimization mathematical model of intelligent traffic information acquisition system with conference network is established by using the comprehensive evaluation function of connectivity and coverage of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Connection and coverage are constraints. The penalty function method is used to further…transform the model into an unconstrained optimization model. Taking the road in the Second Ring Road of Beijing as an example, the simulation experiment is carried out by using radio frequency identification technology. The results show that compared with the initial manual layout, the evaluation function value of the optimized layout can be increased by 1.71% and 3.18% by RFID technology. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology can optimize the traffic information acquisition system.

Abstract: In order to promote the process of building industrialization in China, prefabricated building has become an important means for the development of high quality building. However, many stakeholders in prefabricated building projects cannot visually obtain the value created by this model, which is the biggest obstacle to advance. Based on social exchange theory and stakeholder theory, this paper constructs a multilateral value network model with the owner as the central subject and core stakeholders such as the government, design units, construction units and prefab builders, and clarifies the content and direction of 30 value flows through literature research and expert…interviews. Obtain data systematically quantitative theoretical model through a questionnaire a survey to clarify the value transmission of prefabricated buildings and search for the key path of value.

Abstract: The typical teaching–learning-based optimization (TLBO) algorithm tends to devolve into local optimization and suffers from the rapid loss of population diversity. In this study, an improved TLBO algorithm with group learning (GTLBO) is established to solve these problems. In the proposed algorithm, a class is divided into several groups. The individual with the highest level is selected as the teacher for each group. Then, the teacher implements the TLBO algorithm in each group. This strategy of group learning can maximize the time before the students reach the teacher’s level and effectively ensure population diversity. Given an effectively diverse population, the…idea of reversing the beginning and ending is introduced to boost the convergence rate of the algorithm. Moreover, a matrix displacement method is provided to solve the premature termination phenomenon of the algorithm. Finally, the performance of the GTLBO is investigated across six complex high-dimensional benchmark functions. Results obtained through experiments show that the GTLBO conduces enhanced performance in solving problems of multimodal function optimization. The convergence speeds and solution accuracy of the proposed algorithm are significantly improved compared with those of the typical TLBO algorithm.

Abstract: This research gave an effort to study on gender differences in the job satisfaction for technological innovation at Chinese manufacturing firm. The exploratory study was conducted in four Chinese furniture manufacturing firms, which are all in the phases of introducing advanced manufacturing system. The results of statistical analysis show that general satisfaction of female employees to their jobs is significantly higher than male employees. In addition, supervisory satisfaction of female employees is significantly higher than male employees. The findings of the study reveal that activities are suggested to be carried out to increase the job satisfaction of male employees, especially…improve communication and relationship between the managerial and the non-managerial levels in the innovation process. In addition, the higher job satisfaction of female employees could be considered a positive factor for the successful implementation of AMT in the technological innovation, although male employees are still dominated work force in the case study firms.

Abstract: Energy-efficient flexible job shop scheduling problems (EFJSP) have been investigated fully; however, energy-related objectives often have lower importance than other ones in many real-life situations and this case is hardly considered in the previous works. In this study, EFJSP with sequence-dependent setup times (SDST) is considered, in which total tardiness and makespan are given higher importance than total energy consumption. A two-phase imperialist competitive algorithm (TPICA) is proposed. The importance difference among objectives is implemented by treating all objectives equally in the first phase and making energy consumption not to exceed a diminishing threshold in the second phase. A dynamical…differentiating assimilation and a novel imperialist competition with the enforced search are implemented. Extensive experiments are conducted and the computational results show that TPICA is very competitive for EFJSP with SDST.

Abstract: Assembly flow shop scheduling problem with DPm → 1 layout has important applications in various manufacturing systems and has been extensively considered in single factory; however, this problem with fuzzy processing time is seldom studied in multiple factories. In this paper, fuzzy distributed assembly flow shop scheduling problem (FDAFSP) is considered, in which each factory has DPm → 1 layout, and an imperialist competitive algorithm with empire cooperation (ECICA) is developed to minimize fuzzy makespan. In ECICA, an adaptive empire cooperation between the strongest empire and the weakest empire is implemented by exchanging computing resources and search ability, historical evolution data are…used and a new imperialist competition is adopted. Numerical experiments are conducted on various instances and ECICA is compared with the existing methods to test its performance. Computational results demonstrate that ECICA has promising advantages on solving FDAFSP.

Abstract: Many practical photovoltaic power generation systems with higher output voltage levels rely on photovoltaic DC boost converters with high frequency and high efficiency, which performance directly affect the conversion efficiency of photovoltaic power generation systems. This paper investigates a high-frequency and high-efficiency photovoltaic DC boost converter, which adopts the Boost full-bridge isolation circuit topology with active clamps. The conductance increment method is used as the maximum power point tracking algorithm. The small signal models of its power circuit and control circuit are established to obtain the system model and analyze its stability. The simulation results indicate that the ripple coefficient…of output current is less than 3%, and the ripple coefficient of output voltage is less than 5%, which meets the stability requirements.
