Wood - Lemoine Caroline Lillian Lemoine and Malcolm Barboro Wood, Jr. were married on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 5:30pm. The marriage was officiated by Sonia Prusaitis, friend of bride and groom, on the lawn at Four Seasons in Austin, TX. Readings and prayers were read by Mary Hancock and Annie Dennis. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Lenny Lemoine of Baton Rouge, formerly of Lafayette, LA. The groom is the son of Mary McCormick Wood and the late Malcolm Barboro Wood, Sr. of Memphis, TN. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Kyha Kasia corset top made from duchess satin featuring a delicate bust panel drape over a structured corset and dipped front waist paired with matching Kasia skirt of same material with trumpet silhouette and voluminous train. She carried a bouquet in shades of white including a variety of roses and orchids. Meredith Rybacki and Caroline Salmon served as Matrons of Honor. Bridesmaids were Blake Bell, Russell Chambliss, sister of groom, Alaina Fooda, Ruth Garrett, sister of groom, Amie Guidry, Alice Gwin, Ann Knox, Charlsie Lemoine, sister-in-law of bride, Sara Manocheo, Meredith Neel, Molly Nelson, Kelly Nicholas, Katherine Wilson. Robert Boswell and William Pryor served as Best Men. Groom's attendants were Edward Atkinson, Christopher Carr, Frank Chambliss, brother-in-law of groom, William Dodson, Andrew Garrett, brother-in-law of groom, Martin Haaga, William Hall, John Heflin, Ryan Lemoine, brother of bride, Matthew Mazer, John Pitts, Robert Shoptaw, and Michael Willis. Austin Alexander, Maxim Dynerman, James Montgomery, and Jay Wilson served as ushers. Junior bridesmaids, both nieces of groom, were Julia Chambliss and Charlotte Chambliss. The two escorted Caroline and Malcolm's French Bulldog, Beignet, down the aisle. The flower girls, all nieces of groom, were Lucy Chambliss, June Garrett, and Lois Garrett. The ring bearers, nephews of the groom, were Harvey Garrett and Joseph Garrett. The rehearsal dinner was hosted at The Driskill by the groom's mother. The reception took place at the Four Seasons Austin Ballroom with music provided by The Drywater Band. At the end of the evening the bride and groom changed into bedazzled bell bottoms and suit jackets before heading to the after party where a DJ and a disco ball dancer provided entertainment and the evening ended with fireworks and a traditional New Orleans second line. Following a honeymoon in Indonesia, the couple will reside in Austin.
