A very warm welcome to „Dänu“, our new #CIO at TWINT! 🥳 On 1 August 2024, Daniel Bernasconi will take over responsibility for the strategic #development of our #IT initiatives and the technical development of #TWINT as our new Chief Information Officer. He is well-equipped for this challenge thanks to his many years of experience in strategic IT development and #financial #technology. 🧳 Most recently, Daniel headed #Finnova's Technology Competence Centre and was responsible, among other things, for further developing the architecture and the technology roadmap. Daniel Bernasconi will become a member of the Executive Board and report to our #CEO Markus Kilb. He is the successor to Simon Wehrli, who is leaving the company. Simon has accompanied TWINT for more than six years on its journey to becoming the leading #payment app in Switzerland and has made a significant contribution to the company's success. 💪🙌 The executive board and the board of directors would like to express their sincere thanks for his commitment. We welcome Dänu and wish him lots of fun and success at TWINT. #TWINT #WorkAtTWINT #twintapp

Unfortunately, #Switzerland did not make it to the European Championship semi-finals last weekend. However, we at TWINT are very proud of the Swiss national football team's performance and congratulate them on their #success. 🏅🥳 But speaking of semi-finals, our TWINT #football team, consisting of nine employees, secured 3rd place in this year's Martin Cup, a #Grümpelturnier aka football tournament in Zurich. 🎉 After seven thrilling matches filled with spectacular overhead kicks, numerous goals, intense motivational speeches, and fierce duels, our team triumphed in the small final with a nail-biting #penalty shoot-out with a slighlty better outcome than the Swiss national football team. Congratulations to our “Verein für Transaktionen”! 👏 #TWINT #WorkAtTWINT #twinten #twintapp

Last week, the spotlights in the Letzigrund stadium were not directed at Taylor Swift, but on our #KV-apprentice, Noemi Schilling. ✨ Noemi completed her sports #apprenticeship, at the UNITED school of sports with an outstanding grade of 5.6, earning the top student spot in the KV E-profile and the highest industry grade of 5.8! 👏🥳 We are incredibly proud of her and extend our warmest congratulations. We are also thrilled that TWINT was recognized as a top firm for #apprenticeships at the graduation ceremony. 🙌 #TWINT #WorkAtTWINT #twinten #twintapp #youngtalents #berufsbildung

Just as in the last couple of years, TWINT participated in this year's #BikeToWork challenge and one employee went the extra mile – literally. 🚴♀️😄 Despite the rainy days in May and June, our six teams, consisting of 23 participants, collectively cycled to work for 480 days. Together, we covered almost 5000 km, equivalent to cycling from Zurich to London five times! 🌍 Congratulations to our Head of Legal & Compliance and this year’s Bike to Work champion, Hannes Kieser, who biked every single workday, covering an impressive 840 km. 🏆👏 A big thank you to Marco Kranner, our Senior Project Manager, for organizing this fantastic initiative. Special recognition goes to our Senior DevOps Engineer Cédric B., who went all out by creating a GPS drawing of the TWINT logo on his bike route in Zurich. 🤩 #TWINT #WorkAtTWINT #twintapp #teamspirit

Switzerland pays with TWINT – in #restaurants too. For example, when going for lunch with your work colleagues or attending a business dinner with clients. 🍽️ Much like the TWINT unites #Switzerland campaign, our #gastro #campaign highlights how TWINT unites people. Regardless of whether they eat in a pub or a starred restaurant, they pay with #TWINT. An increasing number of restaurants accept TWINT. 🙌 Keep an eye out for physical TWINT QR code stickers or a QR code on the payment terminal display – or ask the staff if they accept TWINT. #twint #twinting #restaurant

KURO meat is available in the farm shop in Oberwil, in selected grocery shops and in selected restaurants: https://kuro.ch 🐖 #TWINT #twinten #twintapp
