Congratulations to our Health, Safety & Environment team for winning the Yellow May Driving Award for the second consecutive year in a row! Our employee’s safety is a top priority, and we’re extremely proud of you for taking proactive measures to train during this year's busy harvest/planting season, when vehicular traffic tends to increase. With more than 1.1 million fatalities in road traffic accidents worldwide each year, the significance of this issue can’t be overstated. Represented by Mirella Mafra, Edilson Pinho, and Luiz Alberto Fernandes at the ceremony award, our Yellow May campaign trained more than 10,500 employees across four continents due to the actions conducted by Hans Sebastien Sambo and Luiz Alberto Fernandes. This is a testament to your passion to continuously improve our culture of safety. We believe there’s a lot of potential yet to explore around the use of AI Large Language Models (LLMs) in agriculture. That’s why we’re excited to announce a collaboration with AI company InstaDeep, to help accelerate trait research for farmers with artificial intelligence. InstaDeep’s state-of-the-art language model, AgroNT, is trained on trillions of nucleotides from agriculturally relevant crop species – to interpret the complex language of the genetic code. This technology learns from nature and opens new opportunities to gain insight, and more quickly deliver the traits farmers need to enhance and protect yields.
