An excellent opportunity for Mikron Machining to engage in team-building activities while having fun and supporting a charitable cause. Together, we can make a difference.
On Sunday the 9th of June, the Mikron Machining team proudly took part in the 17th edition of the charity football tournament "Passa il pallone della solidarietà", held at the municipal field in Morbio Inferiore, Ticino. This event, organized by FC Morbio Inferiore, aimed to raise funds for SOS-Kinderdorf Schweiz | SOS Villages d'Enfants Suisse to support their program of equal education for children who have been severely affected by the pandemic in Bharatpur, Nepal. The tournament provided an excellent opportunity for Mikron Machining to engage in team-building activities while supporting a worthy cause. The atmosphere was characterized by a positive and collaborative spirit, with all participants enjoying the shared experience. A big thank you to our team for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The Mikron Management & Leadership Training program concluded in mid-June at the Mikron Automation headquarters in Boudry. The three-part program, which started in October last year, included in-person training on self-awareness, communication and leadership, online training sessions on problem-solving, time management and decision making, and concluded with a deep dive into a financial training and presentation techniques in June. At Mikron, we believe that transparent communication and a feedback culture foster teamwork and a trustworthy environment.
Teams of Mikron Machining and Mikron Tool in Agno did participate in a workshop on the “importance of feedback”. Stefano Rasman, Head of Human Resources did lead the workshop at the Mikron Tool Technology Centre in Agno. We explored the crucial role of communication in achieving our goals and learned how to overcome common barriers. Through interactive workshops, we developed active listening skills and practiced articulating our ideas clearly and concisely. We also learnt to differentiate between constructive and critical feedback, focusing on giving timely and actionable feedback. The course emphasized promoting a feedback culture that encourages open dialogue and continuous improvement. We discovered how to apply these skills beyond the workplace to improve our personal and social interactions. Special moments included hands-on exercises, a delicious refreshment break and idea-sharing sessions that created new ways to implement effective communication and feedback strategies within our teams. This training enabled us to improve our communication skills and promote a culture of constructive feedback. We are looking forward on applying these learnings and driving organizational success together!
