Do you know how "Ship and Merge" (SaM) strategy at Evatec helps optimize our processes and increases efficiency for standard tool configurations? Here's how it works: In a typical CLUSTERLINE 200®system, we need to manage approximately 13000 parts in total, sourcing 350 individual elements (assemblies, modules, or individual parts). Depending on the system version, we need around 400 hours to cover basic mechanical and electrical assembly, start up and disassembly once the initial acceptance test has been completed with the customer. The entire assembly process takes 6 to 10 weeks in our factory. By implementing SaM we can streamline the process both reducing the number of individual elements we need to handle in house significantly and the hours required. Investment in innovative module testing techniques prior to shipping means we can also then assemble the final tool directly at the customer facility confident that the final assembled tool will meet all specifications. #EvatecFact Did you know that Evatec organizes an annual BBQ party for its employees? Every year, as summer vacation approaches, we have an after-work BBQ in Trübbach. This year, however the occasion was special: we were not only celebrating summer, but also Evatec's 20th anniversary. The atmosphere was great and everyone was in a festive mood. We enjoyed delicious food from the barbecue and refreshing drinks in the bright sunshine. But the highlight was undoubtedly the "courage to wear a hat" theme. Our colleagues were creative and proudly displayed their unusual hats, from classic to extravagant. Additionally, our colleagues from Evatec Europe in Germany joined us, making the celebration even more memorable. For over 10 years, I’ve been working in this field, applying my expertise at Evatec in Trübbach since 2023. As an HR Assistant, I oversee the entire administration, with a focus on managing our HR software. My responsibilities include handling entries and exits, certificates, accidents, illnesses, and more. I appreciate the collaborative environment with my colleagues, the diverse tasks, and the autonomy I enjoy at Evatec. Working in HR, I find fulfillment in connecting with people, understanding their needs, and supporting their professional growth.
