🌍♻️ Understanding the Plastic Recycling Codes! ♻️🌍    When taking out the trash, most of us have thought: What do all these numbers mean in my plastic products?!    Navigating the world of plastic recycling can be daunting, but understanding the recycling codes can make it simpler and more effective. Here’s a quick guide to the different types of plastic and of Infinity Recycling’s pioneering portfolio companies that are transforming almost all these materials through advanced recycling once they reach their end of life:  ♻️ 1 (PET): Found in bottles and containers. DePoly and Ioniqa Technologies recycle PET into raw chemicals.  ♻️ 2 (HDPE): Used in jugs and bottles. BioBTX, Pryme, Clariter, and Itero convert HDPE into bio-oils through Pyrolysis  ♻️ 3 (PVC): Found in piping and flooring. We hope to explore this in the future!  ♻️ 4 (LDPE): Seen in bags and tubing. BioBTX, Pryme, Clariter, and Itero also recycle LDPE.  ♻️ 5 (PP): Used in straws and caps. BioBTX, Pryme, Clariter, and Ioniqa Technologies convert PP into virgin-grade plastic.  ♻️ 6 (PS): Found in coffee cups and cutlery. Polystyvert recycles PS into virgin-grade products.  ♻️ 7 (Other): Includes Polycarbonate, Nylon, and Mixed Plastics. 🌟 Welcoming Georges to Our Team! 🌟 We are excited to introduce Georges Kachalov, our new Pilot Plant Operator at DePoly! 🎉 Georges began his career in the silk screen domain before transitioning into the field of chemistry. He completed an apprenticeship in chemistry and gained valuable experience working at BASF for four years and Huntsman in epoxy resins for two years. He also holds a diploma as "chargé de sécurité SST," reflecting his strong commitment to safety. In his private life, Georges is starting a silk screen and vinyl cutting workshop, showcasing his love for the artistic side of things. His hobbies are as diverse as his professional background. In his free time, Georges enjoys playing with his cats, Tesla and Schrodi, attending metal concerts, reading mangas, hiking in the mountains (especially if he finds mushrooms!) and going on motorbike tours.
