Thank you Nicolas Gruber for this wonderful review.
As a major driver behind the #ethzurich #Klimarunde for many years, I had the honour to open the 10th edition of the #Klimarunde last week on the topic of "From Knowledge to Action". As you can now watch in the recordings, (https://lnkd.in/dCwxvqtR) it was again a memorable and very inspiring event. We heard from Manuela Brunner the latest news about climate change and from Tobias Schmidt how innovations happened in the past. We had a high powered input by Maren Urner on how constructive dialogues can help to frame our views (and change our brains), followed by excellent challenges from the three high school students Serafin Aeschbach, Serafin, Annuschka Broglie and Monja Simmler. The fast pace of the event continued with lively discussions with Cornelia Schwierz, Elia Blülle, and Marie-France Rafael about the role of media and other channels (such as for example the wonderful MeteoSwiss Blog) in communicating climate change and what is needed to act. The event ended with the opening of the climate art exhibit by Judith Welter, with the exhibit having been especially created for this event by students from the ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. 2 ½ hours of high-level input, led by a wonderful Sonja Hasler, giving everyone much needed motivation to continue pushing for climate action.

Inmidst of the preparations for ETH Zürich #Klimarunde we, that is the Center for Climate Systems Modeling (C2SM) core team, took a well-deserved break and spent last Friday afternoon walking with a herd of very cute, though not always obedient, sometimes 'somewhat' headstrong alpacas at the nearby Zurich alpaca farm - a very fun, relaxing, and truly team-building event! Thus refreshed we are now ready for our big festive occasion, 10 years ETH-Klimarunde "Klimawandel: Vom Wissen zum Handeln" including our art exhibition "Of Each Absence" tomorrow - hope to see many of you there! https://lnkd.in/evpkbQTK
