𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐮 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐧 – 𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐲𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞   We would like to inform you that Alu Menziken Extrusion AG, with approximately 700 employees and four locations in Switzerland, Austria, and Romania, will become part of Mengtai Germany GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mengtai Group Co., Ltd., China. This globally active company focuses on energy production and aluminum and also includes the German apt Group. An agreement was signed between Mengtai Germany GmbH and our owner, Montana Aerospace AG.   The acquisition is still subject to regulatory approvals. The formal closing will be prepared in the coming months and is expected to take place in 2024.   This integration is another important milestone in our success story and opens up great new synergies for us. Together with the apt Group, headquartered in Monheim, and under the umbrella of the Mengtai Group, we can combine our competencies and resources to serve our customers even better and continue to grow.   Bo Ao, Vice Chairman of the Mengtai Group, says: "With this acquisition, we underline our commitment to being the best partner for our customers and to offering them comprehensive added value in all market segments – from raw materials to complex product applications."   Markus Adams, CEO of Alu Menziken, comments: "The acquisition of Alu Menziken by the Mengtai Group is a perfect add-on to the apt Group activities, their existing aluminum business in Europe, and will allow further strategic growth as part of a strong international company.”   Alu Menziken will continue to exist as a company under the umbrella of the Mengtai Group. Today we want to share the impressive achievements of our colleague Eva Kammerstätter in the Controlling department, who has recently completed two challenging training programs. Here's what she shared about her experience: Q: Could you tell us a bit about the two trainings you completed? A: The Certified Controller Training was particularly beneficial for my role in Controlling. Spanning over six months, it included numerous on-site seminars in Vienna, covering topics from basic cost controlling to advanced modules like Power BI training. I found the seminar on planning and budgeting especially valuable, as it provided many improvement opportunities for our company's processes. Additionally, exchanging ideas with other Controlling professionals from across Austria was incredibly insightful. At the beginning of the Montana Aerospace Talent Program, all 'Talents' from various divisions gathered in Traunkirchen, Upper Austria. The course included diverse leadership development sessions and presentation training. The core of the program was developing a group project on a pre-assigned topic. Our topic was 'Group-wide Talent Mobility.' Over eight months, we worked on this project, culminating in a presentation to the Montana Aerospace Management Board in Vienna. One of the highlights for me was connecting with people from around the world. Q: What future goals or projects do you plan to tackle with your new knowledge? A: I am gradually implementing some of the learned topics in our company. The first step is creating automated reports using the BI tool Jedox, which will help minimize manual tasks and allow me to focus on further analyses. Another major focus will be revising the budgeting process, which is one of my main areas of interest. From the Talent Program, I aim to apply the presentation techniques and leadership development skills in my daily work. Q: Were there any specific aspects or topics from the trainings that particularly inspired or motivated you? A: In the Certified Controller training, the budgeting module stood out to me. The exchange with seminar colleagues about different budgeting formats was fascinating and is now my next major focus. In the Talent Program, the PI training was particularly impactful. It covered the various personalities of the participants and how to approach individuals who are more extroverted or introverted, among other things. Our trainees had the opportunity to visit the Audi Deutschland Forum in Ingolstadt! 🌟 We believe in providing our apprentices with hands-on learning experiences that go beyond the classroom. The visit to Audi allowed them to see firsthand the innovation and precision that goes into manufacturing some of the world's most renowned vehicles. Our trainees were thrilled to tour the state-of-the-art production facilities, learn about cutting-edge automotive technologies, and engage with industry experts. This experience not only inspired them but also highlighted the importance of continuous learning and excellence in engineering. A big thank you to Audi for hosting us and to our team for organizing such a memorable trip.
