CDPHE announces new state licensing for ground ambulance agencies

DENVER (July 1, 2024) – In a significant move to enhance public safety, the State of Colorado has finalized new state licensing for ground ambulance agencies. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment will now oversee the licensing of all agencies providing ground ambulance services, which will help ensure more consistent and equitable standards across the state.

DENVER (June 13, 2024) — Today, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment released the latest statewide and regional results from the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey, the state’s most comprehensive survey on the health and well-being of young people. More than 120,000 youth responded to the voluntary survey in the fall of 2023, and the results are promising.

DENVER (May 30, 2024): Gov. Jared Polis has signed into law a bipartisan piece of legislation that will protect Colorado’s wetlands and streams — filling a regulatory gap created by a recent Supreme Court decision — and provide individuals and small businesses with a stable and predictable permitting regime for dredge and fill activities. The legislation was sponsored by Speaker of the House Julie McCluskie and Representative Karen McCormick and Senators Dylan Roberts and Barbara Kirkmeyer.
