JOB SUMMARY

Working with Marketing, Product and Sales, the Showroom and Sales Support role is responsible for maintaining the showroom, assisting the sales team with customers.


PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS & OBJECTIVES

WORK ETHIC

  • Maintaining a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors and other key stakeholders of the company
  • Maintaining good order and positive atmosphere according to company core values and ensure policies are adhered to
  • Ensuring the effective communication with sales, sales support team and clients


SALES SUPPORT

  • Providing and being accountable for the top-level customer service in person, by phone, by email or other electronic means by:
  • Offering product knowledge to customers & assisting sales team
  • Responding to emails by end of day whether there is a solution ready or not
  • Assisting Senior Sales Executive and Inside sales team
  • Supporting showroom sales by
  • Escorting, assisting, and providing clients with product knowledge in the showroom
  • Writing orders in Repzio
  • Working with walk in appointments that do not have an appointment


SHOWROOM/SAMPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Create a schedule four times per year to update showroom with new samples
  • Ensuring all items are tagged
  • Paying close attention to items missing tags and being diligent about keeping items tagged properly
  • Working independently and with the Creative Director to design the placement of new showroom samples
  • Work with SUNPAN teams to ensure discontinued samples are removed or sold off the showroom floor
  • Working with the Marketing team to manage samples coming and going to the photo studio
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned


Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the reporting manager/VP of Sales and/or the CEO


KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior retail sales and showroom experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone and email etiquette, professional attitude and integrity.
  • Strong fashion sense
  • Strong interpersonal skills, personable
  • Ensure compliance to company policies procedures and standards
  • Ability to effectively manage their time, comfortable with multi-tasking.
  • Inventive and resilient
  • Excellent communication skills, as this position is in constant contact with customers, sales team and management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with SAP an asset
