About us

We aim to create an experience for our team members where employees feel at home here and find success, community, and purpose. We encourage our team members to take advantage of learning opportunities to grow and develop their careers within FCL and the larger Co-op system. FCL is a wholesaling, manufacturing, marketing and administrative co-operative owned by more than 160 independent retail co-operative associations. These retail co-ops own and operate agro centres, food stores, gas bars/convenience stores and home centres.

Updates

  • As we continue to deal with a cybersecurity incident, we want to provide Co-op members and customers with an update and some positive news. All 398 Co-op cardlock locations across Western Canada are back online. Our team has been working around the clock to recover our cardlock network and we want to thank Co-op cardlock customers for their patience and understanding throughout this process. We again want to thank our Co-op members, customers and the public for your patience and understanding. As a member-owned and community-facing co-operative retailing system, we all appreciate your support now more than ever. We will continue to keep you updated.

  • We are aware of statements made online that data was allegedly copied from the FCL IT environment and will allegedly be released. While it's possible these allegations are related to the cybersecurity incident we previously experienced, we are still investigating with assistance from third-party experts. If the investigation determines that data was in fact compromised, as previously stated, we will take appropriate action. It's important to note that while this incident has been contained, upon first discovering that we had experienced a cybersecurity incident, we temporarily took a number of our systems offline as a precaution. As we continue forward with resuming normal operations, we're working towards bringing all systems back online safely. We once again want to thank Co-op members, customers and the public for their patience and understanding.

  • As we continue to deal with a cybersecurity incident, we want to provide Co-op members and customers with an update. We are making significant progress in restoring some operations. The cybersecurity incident has slowed down certain aspects of our business, but we are prioritizing key grocery items and consumer goods for delivery to local Co-ops. We are working to recover from the incident, but ask for your patience as we continue to build our way back to regular operations. Co-op cardlock fuel locations were widely impacted by the cybersecurity incident, but our teams continue to get more cardlocks pumping fuel every day. A main priority is to get all cardlock locations back online as soon as possible. We want to reinforce that fuel supply to Co-op retail gas bars has been relatively unaffected and customers can fill up at all Co-op retail locations. We again want to thank our Co-op members, customers and the public for your patience and understanding. As a member-owned and community-facing co-operative retailing system, we all appreciate your support now more than ever. We will continue to keep you updated.

  • When Dallas Wiesner first joined Sherwood Co-op in 2019, its Pharmacy team was in the midst of building a brand-new patient base with the opening of the new Harbour Landing Pharmacy in Regina. Nearly five years later – and through a lot of hard work – Sherwood has seen the patient base at its newest pharmacy reach levels comparable to its other pharmacies in the community. Dallas credits this impressive growth to the team’s patient-first approach, as well as its ability to build key relationships, and connect with community partners. This includes forming a strong partnership with an independent living senior facility in the area. Dallas and his teammates provide educational talks and on-site immunization services to the facility’s staff and residents. Another key to their success has been strong engagement from both the Pharmacy team and management. “I have over 20 years of pharmacy experience and I can say with confidence that this is the best staff I have ever worked with,” said Dallas. “I appreciate the fact that our management team works with us to ensure we have what we need to provide the best possible experience to our customers while helping our team maintain a healthy work-life balance.” If you are interested in a career with Co-op Pharmacy, check out our current opportunities: https://bit.ly/3QlMCpj
