Senior Account Manager looking for top sales talent

The role: Territory Sales Manager

Location: Edmonton

Our client is an industry leader specializing in HVAC, refrigeration and lighting for commercial buildings, retail and restaurants. Since 1969 this business has been providing repair services and preventative maintenance to some of the most recognizable brands in the world, including McDonald's, London Drugs, Earls, and Chevron.

This is a family business with strong empathetic values of building relationships both with the customer and the employees. They are looking for a charismatic relationship builder to become their Territory Manager for Edmonton. This is a blended role of managing existing accounts while focusing on winning new business. You'll be inheriting an established book of business and warm pipeline, selling an established household name to restaurants, retail, and commercial buildings among other verticals in the Edmonton area.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years outside sales experience calling business to business or 2-3 years outside sales experience in HVAC/Refrigeration or mechanical contracting trades.
  • Previous experience selling services to owners and operators of commercial buildings is required, experience selling HVAC/Refrigeration or energy management solutions to building owners, the C-Suite, or property management is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong disciplined sales training and a willingness to make a high number of calls
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software applications
  • A valid drivers license with a good driving record
  • Team player with high personal and professional integrity
  • Ability to think creatively and look at the bigger picture.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary of $80k-$100k base salary depending on experience and interview performance
  • Additional quarterly commission bonus of $5-$10k based upon performance, with an estimated annual on target earnings between $90k-$140k
  • Monthly car allowance of $660
  • Company funds 1% towards your RRSP savings
  • Autonomous and remote work schedule
  • Full medical & dental benefits, 3 weeks of vacation to start
