  • Launch of CN Tower's Newly Renovated Main Observation Level

    On June 26th, CN Tower's 42 birthday, the newly renovated main observation level was launched to media and dignitaries. This renovation was the most significant in the Tower's 42 year history and included the installation of floor to ceiling 'Window Walls', a second glass floor installed directly over the original to provide dramatic vantages to the city below and the introduction of three new Vue Bistros featuring Canadian cuisine and beverages.     On June 26th, CN Tower's 42 birthday, the newly renovated main observation level was launched to media and dignitaries. This renovation was the most significant in the Tower's 42 year history and included the installation of floor to ceiling 'Window Walls', a second glass floor installed directly over the original to provide dramatic vantages to the city below and the introduction of three new Vue Bistros featuring Canadian cuisine and beverages. The launch was highly successful and achieved the most successful media and social media coverage in the CN Tower’s history in terms of reach (63 MM coast to coast), quantity (377 articles) and quality (46% positive/54% neutral).

    Developed in under 10 weeks employing the Agile Method, the new CN Tower Viewfinder App was created to enhance the guest experience. It features 360 degree day and night panoramic views of Toronto and the surrounding area, identifies over 90 landmarks and is available in five languages. The app can be used on both Android and iOS mobile devices and is available for free download on The App Store and Google Play. Initial response from guests and the media has been extremely positive.
