Lightspeed has reported its impressive Q4 and fiscal year results - a 25% increase YoY, resulting in $230.2 million revenue for Q4 and $909.3 million for the full year. With improved Net Loss and positive Adjusted EBITDA for a third quarter, we are now entering a phase of profitable growth. But what's even more exciting are the foundational changes happening behind the scenes that set us up for the future. The unification of our software and payments offerings has resulted in a significant impact on our top and bottom line. Moving forward, our focus on a single flagship per industry and a single stack of systems and tools will drive innovation for our customers and allow us to continue gaining market share. 🇨🇦 Hot off the press: we're excited to see our customers launch payroll products that serve the Canadian market with Salsa's infrastructure. Some entrepreneurs dream of creating a multi-planetary species, our dream was to build payroll infrastructure that didn't see borders. We've showcased what our global core can do via the launch of our Canada product which means that software platforms can how use one API to create a payroll product that serves their customers on both sides of the borders. This is a first for embedded payroll, and a taste of what's to come at Salsa. Huge congrats for the team who worked so hard to build this, and congrats to our partner Mangomint for their launch and vision to give all customers the same fintech experience. Lightspeed recently announced its Q4 and full-year 2024 financial results, showcasing impressive growth. Here are the key highlights: Q4 Results: Total revenue of $230.2 million, representing 25% growth year-over-year Transaction-based revenue reached $139.0 million, up by 40% year-over-year Subscription revenue grew to $81.3 million, up 7% year-over-year Net loss improved to ($32.5) million, compared to a net loss of ($74.5) million in the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA was $4.4 million, a significant improvement from the previous year’s ($4.3) million Full Fiscal Year 2024 Highlights: Total revenue for the full year was $909.3 million Transaction-based revenue reached $545.5 million, growing by 37% year-over-year These impressive results position Lightspeed for continued growth, especially with a renewed focus on flagship offerings and payments penetration. The company aims to exceed the $1 billion revenue mark in Fiscal 2025 by expanding subscription revenue and increasing its high GTV (Gross Transaction Volume) customer base.
