This month, we had the opportunity to support our friends at Vincent Massey Community School in Saskatoon in a unique way. One of their special drums, used by students in drumming circles, needed repair.   With the expertise of Norman Ledoux at Black Sage Wood Works, the drum received a new buffalo hide and frame modifications. We are grateful to Norman for his time and care put into this exciting project. We can’t wait to see it used in future drumming circles with the students!

Last week, WBMers from across Western Canada attended the 12th annual Techapalooza fundraising event in Winnipeg, MB! WBM was honoured to support our long-time friend, Napoleon Sansregret and his band Bill & Dave's Rockin' IT Girls, raise funds for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Through a silent auction, WBM contributed to the band's "groupie fund", helping them raise a total of $17,000! All of the proceeds directly benefit the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, supporting cancer research, education, and patient support programs in the province. Thank you to the Techapalooza volunteers, event organizers, bands, and Napoleon for putting on a great show and making an incredible community impact! Last International Women's Day, our team from across Western Canada spent the day with our client community at Pembina Pipeline Corporation to organize a Day in the Life event for Making Changes Association Women in Technology (WIT) students. Together, we spent an afternoon sharing insights into career development, pivoting industries, mentorship, and the day-to-day operations of the tech sector.     Now, a year later, we have hired three incredible graduates from the Women in Technology program on our End User Computing (EUC) and Technology Experience & Enablement (TEE) teams.     "Working at WBM has been an incredibly enriching experience so far, allowing me to apply my technical skills from WIT and while collaborating with wonderful people from diverse backgrounds and industries.
