DAY 7 IS A WRAP! 🎉 Today was packed with insightful panel discussions, interactive workshops, and dynamic networking sessions that showcased the best of Vancouver's entrepreneurial spirit. As we look forward to the final day of VSW2024, excitement is building for a grand finale to celebrate our vibrant startup community. Don't miss out on tomorrow's events and make the most of this last chance to be part of something extraordinary! ☕ Now for a quick recap of today's highlights, we started off this morning with good vibes at the LGBTQ Morning Coffee Meet Up with Method + Metric and Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce. 🥾 After that, we dove straight into the thick of things, joining in Nexum's workshop on How to Start a Business with Minimal Capital and gaining insight on how to bootstrap. ⚖️ Then, we joined the DVNet panel that discussed the 'AI mindset for impact,' understanding both the opportunities and dangers that this powerful tool can have on jobs, education, financial and social policies. 💪 At Futurpreneur's Ohpikiwin Series: Summer, we reflected on the importance of goal setting, budgeting and learning about saving and investing for the future. This workshop is part of a series dedicated to the financial empowerment of young Indigenous entrepreneurs, supporting their aspirations while integrating heritage and cultural values. 🧠 In the afternoon, we joined Overdrive to learn how to automate the tasks that we hate with AI. A distinguished panel shared tips on integrating automation into our business processes to enhance productivity and streamline day-to-day operations. ⭐ Then, we got inspired by Lisa Shield's incredible journey navigating the competitive environment of building an emerging growth business and becoming a successful female founder. Her conversation with Osler's Laura Webb, EHG Practice and Venture Fund Group Partner, provided a unique learning opportunity. 🍻 At Futurpreneur's Startup Social, we networked with young entrepreneurs, mingling, exchanging ideas, and making valuable partnerships. We continued to network at the Weekly Happy Hour with Startup TNT, where we connected with local entrepreneurs and investors over drinks, had fun, shared knowledge, and forged new friendships. 🌱 To conclude the evening, we joined CareerIn Tech Society at the Vancouver Startup Ecosystem Panel + Dell Pitch Tour: Founders Boost Vancouver Demo Day. We learned from the panel speakers as they discussed the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities, then met promising pre-seed startups from Dell's Pitch Tour. We hope you get a good night's sleep and can't wait to see you all tomorrow for a last hurrah! 😃 #VSW2024 #VancouverEvents #Entrepreneurship #Networking
