Dads excel at so many things, from mastering the grill to changing a tire and offering sage life advice. But let's not forget their unique sense of humour, perfectly showcased in dad jokes. While we might pretend to be annoyed by these corny quips, we secretly love them. In honour of all the joke-telling dads out there, here are a few classics sure to make you groan and giggle. We’re thankful for all the hardworking fathers in the Surerus family and beyond. Your dedication, love, and humor brighten our days. Here’s to the dads who keep things flowing. Happy Father’s Day! #HappyFathersDay #DadJokes #SurerusPipeline

Celebrating 55 Years of Surerus Pipeline Inc.: A Journey of Vision, Growth, and Innovation. Join us as we take a look back at our incredible accomplishments. 1969-1994: The First 25 Years From humble beginnings in Roseneath, Ontario, to moving West at 17, Brian Surerus quickly realized his ambition to be his own boss. In 1969, he founded Groundhog Enterprises by trading in his Ford pickup truck for a dump truck and eventually purchasing his first Drott excavator. Starting with a project just outside Fort St. John, Brian rapidly expanded his operations across British Columbia and Alberta. By the end of the first 25 years, Surerus had established a strong reputation in the Northeastern region. 1994-2019: The Golden Jubilee As Surerus grew, so did its fleet, staff, and project scope. In 2008, the company opened a shop and equipment yard in Gibbons, AB. In 2011, Surerus undertook its first big-inch pipeline near Fort Nelson with 25kms of 42” pipeline, a ground-breaking achievement for a small contractor. In 2014, Surerus formed a joint venture with J. Murphy & Sons from London, England, creating the Surerus Murphy Joint Venture, which has completed some of the largest projects in Canadian history. 2019-2024: The Most Transformative Five Years In the past five years, Surerus has experienced unprecedented growth and success. We completed two historic Canadian pipelines (Coastal Gas Link and Trans Mountain Expansion Project), established a new state-of-the-art office and shop in Fort St John, and made two new company investments in SureLine Projects in Fort St. John, BC, and WHC Energy Services in Lafayette, Louisiana. Brian’s collection of yellow iron equipment has grown substantially, with over 400 pieces acquired in the last five years alone, bringing the total to over 1,700 pieces of construction equipment, vehicles, trailers, and support equipment. Here’s to 55 years of Surerus and many more years of success and innovation ahead! #Anniversary #55Years #BusinessMilestone #Leadership #CanadianBusiness #SurerusHistory #MilestoneMoments #GrowthAndInnovation #PipelineProjects

2024 is a landmark year for Surerus Pipeline Inc. as we celebrate 55 years in business! This 55th anniversary holds special significance for Brian Surerus, highlighting three unique palindromes in his life: his notable last name (SURERUS), 55 years of business success, and his recent 77th birthday. Brian eagerly anticipates more projects across Canada and southern USA, wishes for his family's continued health and happiness, and hopes Fort St. John remains a thriving part of BC. “I’m pretty lucky; I don’t need anything. I have too many buildings, too many cows, and too many machines, but I have fun and I love it,” says Brian Surerus. #Anniversary #55Years #BusinessMilestone #Leadership #CanadianBusiness #FortStJohn #BCBusiness #Palindromes

Surerus Pipeline Inc.: Committed to Community and Well-being At Surerus, we're dedicated to supporting our community and promoting health and wellness. This February, Team Surerus took on The Push-Up Challenge to raise funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association, which provides vital support for individuals living with mental illness and promotes mental resilience across Canada. We're proud to share that we ranked 10th in BC for fundraising, raising an impressive $6,560! Our Office Team tracked 27,256 push-ups, while the Operations Team logged 14,379. A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful sponsors and to Surerus for matching our donations! In May, our office and shop staff participated in the Step Into Summer challenge. This initiative supports the Josh Lequiere Society, which helps young athletes in Fort St. John overcome financial barriers to play sports. With 22 participants, we collectively took 750,361 steps in just the first four days, covering a distance of 502 kilometers – that's like walking from Fort St. John to Grande Prairie and back, then on to Dawson Creek! We are incredibly proud of our team's commitment and enthusiasm. Together, we're making a positive impact in our community and promoting a healthier, more active lifestyle. #CommunitySupport #MentalHealth #YouthSports #TeamSurerus #StepIntoSummer #PushUpChallenge #WellnessAtWork #GivingBack

Surerus Pipeline Inc. stands united with communities across Canada to observe Moose Hide Campaign Day. On May 16, 2024, we join this vital Indigenous-led movement that began over a decade ago along the Highway of Tears, calling on men and boys to help end violence against women and children. By wearing the moose hide pin, we at Surerus commit to honor, respect, and protect the women and children in our lives and to speak out against gender-based and domestic violence. This symbol, rooted in the cultural traditions of the Carrier territory, signifies our pledge to create safer, more respectful environments. Join us in making a difference: Wear a pin. Raise your voice. Change the future. https://lnkd.in/g6BZ9mc #MooseHideCampaignDay #EndViolence #RespectAndProtect #SurerusSupports

Life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a mother. This Mother's Day, we celebrate the guiding lights in our lives — our mothers. Their wisdom, strength, and unconditional love help shape our paths and brighten our journeys. To all the mothers who nurture, inspire, and lead: thank you for your endless dedication and love. To all the moms, we honour you, the first role models, the first leaders, and the first to believe in us. #MothersDay #SurerusSalutesMoms #Motherhood #GuidingLights #ThankYouMom
