Have "double-haters" in the U.S. been swayed since the June 27th U.S. #electoral debate? Are voters less satisfied than they were heading into the debate? 📊 Our latest #election #analysis highlights several key findings: ♦ Following the debate, public perception of the likely November election winner shifted significantly. ➡ ♦ Public perceptions shifted mainly among those on the political spectrum’s extremes—center-left and left, or center-right and right.  ♦ Among center-wing respondents, the belief that #Trump will win increased slightly from 23% to 28%, while confidence in Biden remained nearly unchanged, moving from 17% to 18%. The percentage of those who think neither #Biden nor Trump will win rose from 15% to 20%. This suggests the debate may have disengaged some respondents, adding to the group of “double-haters” who are dissatisfied with both candidates. Quality is subjective and tied to study goals, where setting acceptable thresholds is key for reliability and validity. To mitigate errors and biases, the focus needs to be on several key areas, such as: - Sampling Errors: Ensure a representative sample through size, method, and diversity for generalizable results. - Questionnaire Design: Craft clear, unbiased questions to avoid misinterpretation and skewed results. - Data Gathering Methods: Use consistent, unbiased collection methods to minimize errors. Striving for higher data quality involves setting rigorous standards and addressing these areas independently. Refinement and vigilance are essential for the integrity of our findings.
