NEW #SIMBA Capsule MANUSCRIPT ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐ Nimble Science is pleased to report the publication of the manuscript "Spatially and temporally precise microbiome profiling in the small intestine using the SIMBA Capsule with x-ray tracking" in Frontiers of Microbiome. This work, affectionately called our DID SIMBA study, for Dietary Intervention Detection by the #SIMBA Capsule, was done in collaboration with Lallemand Health Solutions and demonstrated the capacity of the #SIMBA capsule to collect probiotic ingestions in real-time from the small intestine. We celebrate this milestone on the first day of the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) conference in Cork, Ireland with Nimble Science CTO Joseph Wang attending, and as CEO Sabina Bruehlmann travels to attend the Microbiome Movement Drug Development Summit in Boston later this week (https://lnkd.in/dFVqKzT). It is an exciting time to consider how high-quality direct sampling of the small intestine might transform how microbiome-based therapies are identified, developed, and launched.
