LEARN is a non-profit educational organization with a mandate to serve the English speaking community of Quebec. LEARN accomplishes this by offering a wide range of resources and services. These services and resources include elementary and secondary level teaching tools and content, professional learning, community, school and parental support, as well as a full range of online services through the LEARN Virtual Campus. The Virtual Campus includes online classes to students across the province, personalized tutorials, summer school, as well as customized programs that are developed in concert with schools and school boards. All of LEARN’s efforts contribute to student retention and academic success. * Offers online services and support to all English school boards, private schools, community organizations and the private sector in rural and urban settings; * Supports and promotes pedagogical collaboration and innovation using information technology, and works to model best practices; and * Publishes quality learning materials to support educators who are implementing competency-based practices in the classroom. 91 743 students in the English-speaking public school boards & private schools in Quebec. 2641 Tutoring appointment hours offered by LEARN for elementary and secondary levels in 2017/2018. 88 Professional Development sessions and workshops presented by LEARN to support over 4092 educators in the province of Quebec. 1273 Number of activities supported by partners and service providers in CLC school across Quebec. Vision To be the most innovative and collaborative educational organization for the English-speaking community of Quebec. Mission To serve the educational lifelong learning needs of the English-speaking community in Quebec and contribute to student success and community vitality.
