Despite animals naturally consuming selenium in its organic form, which is found in crop biomass, it is usually not enough. This is due to low selenium levels in the soil meaning that the selenium content of grain and forages is very low in many countries. There are two categories of selenium supplement, inorganic and organic, with the latter being far superior in its bioavailability across all animal species. To avoid a selenium deficiency, animals should be supplemented with dietary selenium in its organic form. For more information on how the source of selenium can impact the selenium status of ruminants, turn to pages 32 and 33 of the July/August edition of Feed Compounder Magazine Click here: https://lnkd.in/ei3Sn4rZ

LalVigne BOTRYLESS™: The Natural Solution Against Botrytis and Acid Rot 🔍A recent study (Mosetti et al, 2024) revealed the effects of Lalvigne BOTRYLESS™. Whether used preventively or curatively, this product reduces botrytis impact and bacterial infections that lead to acid rot. 🌱 LalVigne BOTRYLESS™ is composed of a specific chitosan derived from 100% Aspergillus niger (NOT from crustacean origin – stay informed on the origin of your product!). This unique formula combines three forces: 1. Antimicrobial action 2. Elicitor effect 3. Creation of a protective biofilm 🍇 Healthier Grapes, Higher-Quality Wine: Field-tested and proven, the natural solution, LalVigne BOTRYLESS™, means less botrytis, less acid rot, and healthier grapes. And guess what? It doesn’t interfere with alcoholic or malolactic fermentation, aligns with organic viticulture, and respects the microbial terroir. 📚 Dive into the technical details in our latest article: https://ow.ly/JJFv50SIVpn
