KAS Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wastewater Technician to join our client in Mississauga! Do you have a passion for environmental protection and a strong background in water treatment? In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient treatment of industrial wastewater. You will utilize your knowledge of water chemistry and environmental studies to operate mobile treatment plants, conduct water testing, and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: Collect and analyze water samples Operate, monitor, and maintain mobile water treatment plants Perform bench testing to determine appropriate treatment processes Travel to various locations in Toronto Ensure proper equipment maintenance and supplies are stocked Maintain clear communication with all team members Participate in safety programs and adhere to safety protocols Represent professionally on client sites Requirements: Previous experience with water/wastewater treatment, pumps, valves, and chemical systems Experience with collecting, submitting, and evaluating water samples Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Studies, or Civil Engineering (or Grade 12 with relevant experience) Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean record (Forklift license a plus) TDG knowledge and experience Excellent communication and record-keeping skills Ability to perform physical tasks and work independently KAS Staffing offers competitive pay and a rewarding work environment!
