Exciting News from the University of Calgary! A new study highlights the importance of compassion in Alberta's emergency departments and its strong link to quality care. This research emphasizes how empathy and understanding can significantly impact patient outcomes and overall healthcare experiences. The study was conducted by #UCalgary Nursing professor and director of the Compassion Research Lab Dr. Shane Sinclair, PhD, in partnership with the Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA) and Innovate Calgary.
