The landscape of commercial fleet electrification is evolving rapidly. 🚛⚡ While electrification might not yet be feasible for every vehicle segment, the strides in technology and performance within the medium- and heavy-duty EV market are significant. In a recent op-ed for Electric Autonomy, Dunsky Senior Consultant Maddy Ewing and Meena Bibra of Clean Energy Canada discuss how fleet managers can get results by focusing on fleet technologies available today. Many commercial duty cycles, such as last-mile delivery, drayage, and regional haul are well-suited for electrification today. By conducting a tailored fleet electrification assessment, businesses can identify early opportunities for EV deployments and reap the operational savings associated with EVs. Learn more by reading the full op-ed here: https://lnkd.in/grmN6CrJ Dunsky has developed fleet electrification plans for many organizations across the US and Canada using our E-FLEET technology. For Canada’s energy transition to succeed, our electricity sector must meet an enormous, dual challenge - simultaneously decarbonizing existing grids while significantly expanding electricity production to support new demand. Last week, our President Philippe Dunsky sat alongside Stephan Rupert, Chief Investment Officer at Canada Growth Fund Investment Management, and Hon. Lisa Raitt, Vice-Chair, CIBC Capital Markets, to offer insights into the policy changes needed to achieve these twin goals. Philippe discussed pragmatic approaches for us to succeed in this transition, the significant opportunities for our economy, and the complexities that lie ahead. Our thanks to CIBC Capital Markets for last week’s event – it was a pleasure to discuss these critical issues with your audience!
