The joint development work will focus on improved and more energy efficient model training, more performant models, and the synergistic use of Generative AI and quantum optimization. Not only does quantum computing show promise in supercharging AI for enterprise use cases, it could potentially help customers drive sustainability and lower costs, boost operational efficiency and advance AI for complex computational models. Together, we’re aiming for better AI model training and performance, and this expanded collaboration represents another step toward realizing the potential of quantum-powered AI. Both versatile and ubiquitous, the Ford Transit line is one of the most customizable commercial vehicles on the market. But when it comes to manufacturing the vehicle, its hallmark customizability can create complex production scheduling challenges, especially when unexpected events occur.   Ziya Dalkılıç, a data scientist at Ford Otosan, recently shared how they're using D-Wave's annealing quantum computing technology to enhance production scheduling processes for the Ford Transit line. The Aramco Research Center in Europe is tapping D-Wave's powerful quantum technologies to solve complex optimization problems in seismic imaging, an important technique for mapping geological strata deep beneath the surface. With D-Wave's support, Aramco has successfully created its first subsurface maps using tens of gigabytes of seismic data.
