May is Mental Health Awareness Month
For all of us, there are some stretches of time where it feels like life is coming at you from all angles….it’s relentless and unwavering in its ability to test your resolve. There are tough days, weeks and sometimes months.
I am true believer that life also comes at you in waves…sometimes just ripples, other times, a powerful storm. I’ve had a stormy week, as have many of you. In these times, we need to remind ourselves that there are brighter and calmer days ahead.
At the beginning of the week, I had the good fortune of attending the St Joseph’s annual - Breakfast of Champions. Neil Pasricha spoke about his experiences and how he keeps a positive outlook in life despite its challenges. He has a good message and I wanted to pass it along to all of you to check out when you have a few spare moments. The first link below takes you to his blog. The second is nearly the same speech and message from the Breakfast of Champions. It’s a 17 minute video and I would encourage you all to make the time to watch it sometime soon.
