Cheap way to get the Manta Warrior minifigure

    Written by (TFOL) in Netherlands,

I got this set when I was in a store and I saw this set for only €3,- I bought it because I wanted the Manta Warrior and this is a cheap way to get him.

This is a nice little set with the Manta Warrior and a rock.

The Manta Warrior has a new piece for on his head (I expected that this piece was attached to his head to make one head piece, but it's a kind of hat) and has a nice trident. He really looks like a mutant-manta-man.

The rock is a nice little complement with some seaweed on it. Not much to say about it.

    Pros

    • Manta Warrior looks awesome
    • Rock was a little bit larger than I expected
    • Nice complement for your Atlantis collection
    • Cheap way to get the Manta Warrior

    Cons

    • None!

Summary this is a nice set and if you see it in a store, just buy it!

    It's got that something special...

Written by (AFOL , silver-rated reviewer) in United States,

My girlfriend and I had seen this guy often at the store and we always made fun of him and his pathetic little rock, but we started to like him in an underdog kind of way. So much to surprise, she got him for me for St. Nicholas Day (which we treat as an appetizer to Christmas). He's my only Atlantis set (I collect Star Wars Lego). Strangely enough, I love this guy!

Yes, objectively this is a terrible set, but I am having a blast with him. His colors and look make him an awesome mascot for my favorite baseball team (the Tampa Bay Rays). He also looks great, especially scalewise, leading my Seacons (Transformers)--or at least trying too, lol. Plus, his rock and seaweed has the uncanny ability to make any toy I place next to it appear underwater.

So in conclusion, yeay he's lame, but I love him!

    Small Set

Written by (TFOL , gold-rated reviewer) in United States,

So I only got it for the Minifigure. I also think the trident is cool. Not much you can do with seaweed rock but is a nice touch.

The Manta Warrior's head costume is hard to keep on but with other strange alien monsters, you could make this as the head. I think the actual seaweed is cool but he rock just sits there. Overally a pretty good 'set'

  • Better than it looks.

Written by (TFOL) in United States,

Despite the bad reviews and the low Peice count, this is still an okay set. The Minifig is great, and he's new to me because he only comes with two other sets(Both of wich are kinda biggish). So it's great to get him in a small set. The rock doesn't really do much for the set, but it does have a new-style headlight brick in Dark Bley :D . And it's a really good army builder, and I'm planning on getting more so I can have a bunch of em swarming my Explorers :D . Oh yeah, and contrary to what most of the pictures make it look like, the head is mostly Light Bley, not white.

    PROS :)
*Cheapest way to get the Manta Warrior.
    *Headlight brick :D .
    *Another trident(I LOVE that weapon).
    *Another Dark Green Piraka spine.

    CONS :(
    *too small.
*Some pictures are misleading about the head color.

    I reccomend it anyway.
