LEGO Star Wars - Droids Battle Pack
The Droids Battle Pack set (7654) is a LEGO Star Wars set which came out in 2007. It comes with 7 minifigs and 102 pieces. This set does include no decals and there're no mistakes in the instructions and no missing pieces.
Minifigures:
Battle Droids:The Battle Droids are nothing special. They have a tan colour, and they have the old LEGO Star Wars blasters with the megaphone and the transparent orange stud.
Super Battle Droids:There's also nothing special about the Super Battle Droids. They have 'muscles' and a basic metal look.
STAP:
The STAP is attached to some clear bricks. The colour for the STAP is brown, and we got the lightsaber handles for the blaster. The droid can be put on the STAP very nicely. There's also a megaphone on each side of the engine.
Speeder Bike:
The speeder bike is very simple. In the front, you can find a place to put the droid which controls the speeder. Behind the cockpit you can see the megaphone blasters. On each side you can see some turrets which do sviwel up and down. 5 droids can stay on the speeder behind the megaphone blasters.

Great pieces which you can use for brickfilms or MOC's

Awesome set back in the day
The set is really good, it was good way to build a battle droid army when it was on shelves. The two builds included are also neat. The only down side is the aftermarket price but i cant take any stars away for that. 10/10 set overall

One of many
I got this set in a bucket of LEGOs for Christmas back in 2013. I built it rather quickly but realized I was missing the super battle droids for this set. I was able to get some super battle droids later to complete the minifigure selection in the set.
Minifigures
B-1 Battle Droid. You get four standard battle droids same as the ones they make now except that they're blaster arm isn't rotated eighty degrees. They carry the old megaphone blasters
B-2 Battle Droid. You also get four super battle droid In gunmetal grey. They are the same ones that have been made for years. LEGO appears to have discontinued making them however and these droids are beginning to command a high price on the aftermarket.
The Build
First you build a STAP for one of the B-1 battle droids to ride on. Then you build the troop carrier. There are no moving parts or interesting pieces.
Overall
This is one of the sets that started the battle pack era. It's a great army builder and an excellent source for battle droids. I wish LEGO would go back to making two battle packs a year with opposing forces to choose from. This is a great set and if you can find it I would highly recommend adding it to your collection.

One of the Best!
People like to rag on modern battle packs. They complain about the lack of "true army builders", as most battle packs now have 1 or 2 of the minifig slots taken up by officers or other unwanted/unnecessary officers and such. Of course, they are correct. The new battle packs absolutely do deserve criticisms. However, it saddens me to see people romanticize the "days of old" yet look past this battle pack.
The set came out along with 7655 back in 2007. Being the first battle packs, LEGO sure did start off strong. Both sets were incredible, and both had great figures. To make up for the droids being "cheap" in the eyes of fans, they included 4 B1 Battle Droids, and 3 B2 Battle droids. This was truly a droid army builder's dream! 7 droid figures for the price of $9.99! Why not pick it up? It was truly a hidden gem among Star Wars sets as a whole.
Perhaps some day, people will look back and see it's true beauty.

- B1 Battle Droids have 2 curved arms, unfortunate, as the straight arms were released the following year.
- Though the vehicles are fun, the build may be boring to some.

One Of The Best (If Not The Best) Battle Pack Ever!
When My Mum Brought Me To My Local Art & Hobby's Back In 2007, As Soon As I Saw This Set I Was In Awe. My First Reaction Was: "Super Battle Droids!" Because This Was The First Time We Had Seen These Guys Since The Gunship Way Back In 2002. It Was Also The Very First Time We Had Seen Them In a Gunmetal Colour And Not That Strange Cobalt Blue. As Well As The Fact That You Get Four Battle Droids To Compliment The Super Battle Droids. You Get Two Vehicles! A Very Nice STAP, (A Big Improvement On The One From 1999, And In My Opinion Better Than The One That Came With The AT-TE, Too) As Well As A Tank That Looks Similar To The TF Patrol Boat That Appeared In "Star Wars: Starfighter" (Click On The LInk Below For The Picture Of The Patrol Boat) Anyway, Onto The Pros And Cons:
