    332 battle pack

    Written by (KFOL) in Canada,

Honestly, it was pretty fun playing with it and my boba fett micro fighter. It kind of gets a little boring after a while though.A suggestion is that you add more mini-figs or side builds to the battle pack and sell it for the same price.I enjoy collecting jet pack colours and now that I got this set i have added blue to my collection and now have green, blue and gray.A recommendation for a side build is actually giving it a mech for the commander/captin.Thanks for reading!

    An Almost Perfect Battlepack.

Written by (AFOL , bronze-rated reviewer) in United Kingdom,

A battle pack is an army builder set. That's why it exists. Whether you're a kid with $20 looking to have more troops to fill your battles or an adult with $200 looking to fill a baseplate, a battle pack is what you need.

This battle pack is almost perfect as battle packs go. You get a reasonable little speeder build which genuinely adds to your forces (rather than being some ultra-micro-scale version of a gunship or something) You also get 3 generic troopers to pad your army. These troopers are of fantastic quality, although helmet holes may be a problem for some (mostly large youtubers trying to generate outrage content about plastic toys)

You also get Captain Vaughn. For a child Vaughn won't be an issue at all, he's just a clone trooper. For us AFOLs who are burdened by knowledge and know that he's a named character he's a slight annoyance. Made especially annoying if you know that the 332nd Company only had one captain because companies only have the one captain.

Still, 3 generic troopers are still better than what we've had in the past and provides some of the better relative value as far as battle packs go.

The added value of the orange accessories pack, the two blue jet packs and the stud shooter cannon add an often unmentioned bonus for customisation and playability for kids.

Aside from Captain Vaughns existence i'd say the only true flaw in the set is not IN the set at all. These troopers featured in the Siege of Mandalore (exclusively) and we have no Death Watch related sets available at the same time. Not a slight on THIS set but definitely something to note if that matters to you.

Overall, it's a solid battle pack set with great little bonuses and very few flaws.

    75359-1: 332nd Ahsoka's Clone Trooper Battle Pack

Written by (AFOL) in United States,

At long last, a 332nd battle pack! Glad they’re now much more available compared to only one being in the AAT. I won’t count helmet holes as a flaw since I’m completely fine with them, but that’s being said, this one has gained some controversy, but anyway, let’s dive in!

In terms of building, I must say, it’s rather unique. A swamp speeder usually doesn’t come to mind when I think of the Siege of Mandalore, but it’s something unique as we gotten some tanks, walkers and Barc speeders a lot recently. It also comes with a little cannon, which strangely enough reminds a bit of Terrako (that Egg Guardian from Zelda). But it’s a rather unique build, and I’m happy for it. Also comes with stud shooters to flick.

In terms of parts, there are some useful parts, along with rangefinders and visors. But most importantly, JETPACKS! Very happy we got more of them in this set!

For minifigures, it’s a great army builder (also the render show the black one the helmet really thick, but luckily the actual product is thin like normal, renders did them dirty). You get 3 generic troopers, two come with jetpacks, which make for easy army building. Now, here’s the thing. There’s part of me that I don’t really like the Captain Vaughn included but also understands why he was made the way he is. The things I did wish he had was a helmet akin to Commander Cody (or 212th Gunner or 501st Heavy), light gray on the torso and parts of his belt, and blue arms (which you can actually do if you have them, I did to mine and he stands out much better). Personally, it should have been a generic trooper for easier army building (or possibly a Mandalorian Super Commando, now that would be awesome to have), save Vaughn for another time like a book or a polybag build or something else.

Overall, it’s a great army builder that gets way too much hate. A perfect way to build a 332nd army! Though like said, Vaughn should be saved for later and include a generic trooper or a Super Commando. But pretty underrated due to the controversy surrounding it, I recommend it if you wish to army build the 332nd Company!
