    First Order Heavy Assault Walker

Written by (AFOL , rhodium-rated reviewer) in United States,

    Box/Instructions:

Comes in a polybag with normal polybag sized instructions.

    Parts:

There aren't any cool or unique pieces in this set. The total piece count is 54.

    The Build:

The build was quick and easy took me a couple of minutes to build it.

    Overall Opinion:

Overall this is a nice walker. I really like the new design with this walker. The new look to the legs are really nice. My only critic to this set would be the legs are a little difficult model. Other than that this is great. It looks a lot like the larger version of it. Above the cockpit of the walker you have the heavy turret, which I really like that they incorporated into it. Overall I'm giving it a 5-star rating.

    Awesome!

I got this one before the bigger mini-fig size version and it was a pleasure to build this one before the latter so as to see what, in general, to expect. This mini is spot on with the 'flows' of the bigger one and a great addition for land-minis. It's also not hard at all to 'clone/re-brick' as most of the parts are very common.

I found that there was a decent amount of pieces (although the small variety) for the money paid. I actually found this in my local Target store around the checkout counter.

The Last Jedi Walker in Miniature Scale.

Written by (AFOL , rhodium-rated reviewer) in Canada,

Set #30497 First Order Heavy Assault Walker: Here’s another great looking Star Wars Polybag, while the design is a bit of odd duck from the New Trilogy era I can safely say that it does look good at such a tiny scale.

    Pros:

    • Great use of parts to capture the likeness of the new walker design for the First Order.

    • Fun and clever little build.

    • Great to play with or display.

    Cons:

    • Legs slightly awkward looking, difficult to pose well.

    Overall opinion

This is a pretty decent looking Polybag for the First Order and one that I recommend if you really like the new walker design. The parts are somewhat nice, though nothing too rare so there is that. Would suggest getting multiples if you’d like a really fun little walker display though.
