    Brave Brave Sir Robin

Written by (AFOL) in United Kingdom,

Brave Sir Robin has this cool fortress on wheels (a "Fortrex" in the Nexo Knights world) which takes advantage of blasters previously reserved for Star Wars minifigs. The polybag includes some interesting build techniques and one really cool new part.

    Parts

Most of the parts are visible in the polybag photo. The coolest new parts are the 1x1 pyramid brick (so new that they don't appear in the official inventory from LEGO yet). Imagine part 3688 but on a 1x1 base. There are five of these in the polybag (one is a spare). I hope LEGO do them in other colours soon.

Other cool parts include a 1 x 5 Technic plate which is used across the front to support the blaster, and of course the blaster cannon itself. Four 1x1 round in bright orange are supplied as ammunition. There are also two 1x2 brick with arch in dark blue.

    Minifigures

Brave Sir Robin has short legs, a boy-like mop of hair and freckles on his face. Sir Robin is a teenage knight in the Nexo world, and his emblem is a chicken. I wonder if this is a reference to another Brave Sir Robin. In the accompanying videos he comes up with clever ideas that help to save the Nexo good guys from the bad guys. Brave Sir Robin is therefore awesome. Especially for builders aged 7 years.

    The build

AFOLs should attempt to build the set without opening the instructions. The instructions are suitable for kids aged 7+ (the target audience) or for inexperienced LEGO builders.

    The completed model

Lovely little model on wheels - great play value on the breakfast table.

    Overall opinion

Brave Sir Robin no longer needs to run away cos he has this amazing "Fortrex" on wheels. You probably have to live in the Nexo world for a while and watch all the movies to understand all the nuances of this model, but it' still great fun.

    Pretty good

Written by (TFOL , rhodium-rated reviewer) in United Kingdom,

    Opening;

Robins mini fortrex is a well done build with a play feature and a nice figure .

    The Minifigures-

The minifigure has a nice luke Skywalker hair piece , freckled smile and chicken print torso and plain blue small legs .

    The build-

The build has four untryered wheels , a ramp/drawbridge , a stud shooter and some walls and a steering wheel .

    In conclusion-

I am led to believe that this is a good parts pack and provides a good play value so I recommend it .

    The Mini Fortrex Assault

Written by (AFOL , rhodium-rated reviewer) in Canada,

Set #30372 Robin’s Mini Fortrex: An interesting choice for a polybag, this vehicle is actually seen in the show from what little I’ve seen of it, so it’s nice to get this physically, especially as it uses some nice rare parts for the turrets. Read on to find out what’s good and what’s bad about the set.

    Pros:

    • Model is solidly built and includes stud shooter for play action. As well as a raising and lowering drawbridge.

    • Transparent orange 1x1 turrets are included with the set.

    • Robin Minifigure cheapest availability in this set with dual-sided torso print that is quite stunning.

    • New Hair piece is a real treat also.

    Cons:

    • No dual-sided facial expressions.

    • No weapons for Robin to use aside from the stud shooter.

    • No Nexo Power pieces.

    Overall opinion

A decent polybag offering from Nexo Knights. The parts can be quite useful and the main model is very well designed. Not good for army building I’m afraid, but decent enough that I find myself recommending it for fans of the Theme. It’s also nice to see this character in such a cheap set.

Everything is mediocre, besides including Robin in a cheap way.
