Opening -

LEGO's CMF Series 26 includes a plethora of cosmic characters, with none more grounded than that of the Spacewalking Astronaut. LEGO have produced copious other "realistic" spacepersons in the past, Series 15's 'Astronaut' most notably, so it comes as a surprise that it took them until the 26th series to do a series fully dedicated to cosmic individuals, but here we are.

The Minifigure -

The figure features the same helmet mold used for the LEGO City 2019 Space subtheme with an opaque visor in reflective gold. There is a female face underneath the helmet printed on a white head. The torso and legs are entirely generic (as they should be) for a character such as this, with side-arm and side-leg printing being a nice touch. The notoriety comes with the neck-attachment. There are six studs available on the back, covered by a 2x3 printed tile featuring a prominent 'Classic Space' logo. There are two more available studs next to the head, with one featuring a printed camera lens and the other a floodlight. Two bar-connections are at the bottom, with each having a clip attached leading to printed 1x1 cheese slopes as suggested control sticks for in-orbit propulsion.

Extras -

No traditional accessories are included, but there is a delightful cosmic stand adorned with a starview print on the tile areas. We have controversial boxes for packaging. However, with a scanning system now available, the packaging is much less of an inconvenience.

Conclusion -

Spacewalking Astronaut is a great Minifigure in an overall pretty solid series, the printing is of high quality, and the design of this style of spacefarer is at the peak of its potential in LEGO form.

Opening -

LEGO CMF series are known for their ability to produce excellent figures with not very many extra inclusions, however Animal from The Muppets Collectable Minifigures Series subverts that commodity.

The Minifigure -

Animal has a specially moulded head which is excellent, incorporating much of the needed texture, the torso also remains accurate; even with the attribute of printed dual moulded arms. The legs are also very well done, bring dual moulded with an orange and reddish brown colour palette.

The Accessories -

Animal's accessories are numerous, appropriate and exceptional well-done for the size. He has two dark tan wand pieces for his compulsory drumsticks. And there is a build for his drum kit, the build is simple, small and effective, notably there is a symbol in a painted gold colour and a 2x2 white round tile with a gaping mouth with a gold tooth on it, the symbol of Animal's band; The Electric Mayhem. The stand is the standard black CMF stand.

In Conclusion -

Animal was an inarguable necessary figure for this series, and he remains one of the best. His details and attention to detail is wonderful, and the drum kit is mindblowing-ly well-done at such a small size.

Opening -

Rowlf the Dog is an unforgettable member of The Muppets ensemble, the same goes for his simplistic yet effective LEGO Minifigure rendition.

The Minifigure -

Rowlf the Dog features a precise and detailed dual molded head-sculpt, with his eyes and gaping black mouth printed on. His torso and legs continue the appropriate reddish brown colour from Rowlf's head, and the front, back and sides of the arms and legs feature little details representing the rough texture of his fur.

The Accessories-

The accessories are very welcome editions, and both provide value. The Shakespeare bust is very well executed, with the use of an ornate 1x1 brick for the base, a two-faced head and a receding hairline. His other accessory is a sheet of music for him to play on his piano, the print is detailed and useful out of the setting. The stand is the standard black CMF stand.

In Conclusion -

Overall I believe this Minifigure to quite undeniably perfect, as a lifelong fan of The Muppets I cannot find a single flaw with the figure itself. Perhaps the only element that may result in an argument being made against this figure is its inclusion in The Muppets CMF series as a whole, some may argue that a character such as Scooter or Doctor Teeth would've been more appropriate inclusions. However non of this bashes against the quality of this Minifigure itself.

Opening;

The Swedish Chef is entirely iconic and hilarious, his Minifigure counterpart is executed so well that I believe it to a contender for one of the most accurate Minifigures LEGO have ever produced.

The Minifigure-

He has a dual moulded head with his Chef's hat being accurately crooked, also his dark orange facial and other hair provides excellent accuracy, accuracy being displayed further especially with the absence of his eyes, and his gaping mouth. His torso starts his plain white apron and also features a large pink bow tie with printed arms adding further detail. Finally, his legs are dual moulded and feature side leg and feet printing.

The Accessories-

His accessories include a light grey whisk, and a singing tomato, with a delightful face printed onto a red Minifigure head topped off with a green leaf element. The stand is the standard black CMF stand.

In Conclusion-

This figure is excellent, capturing all essential details accurately, and including generous accessories. I cannot think of a single issue with this figure, which leads me to recommend it highly.

Opening:

Fozzie Bear is another greatly iconic member of The Muppets, and he was inevitably included in this CMF series. And his Minifigure execution is brilliant and accurate.

The Minifigure-

Fozzie has an exclusive dual moulded head and hat combo with his eyes and mouth printed. The torso has his scarf printed accurately, and brilliant side arm printing depicting subtle fur, which was missing from previous characters such as Elmo and Cookie Monster, his legs also continue this detail with side printing adorning the available sides.

The Accessories-

His accessories include both a 4 piece black microphone with stand which is quite decent, and a yellow moulded banana which is fine, but I believe a new piece for a rubber chicken would've been more appropriate, as that is his more iconic utensil. The stand is the standard black CMF stand.

In Conclusion-

Fozzie Bear is not only one of the best characters that The Muppets have to offer, but he is also one of the best looking Minifigures in this series, he is one of the figures that I see a price increase as inevitable in future, thus why I recommend you get him soon if you do desire to obtain this Minifigure.
