    A Truly Wild Set

Written by (AFOL , platinum-rated reviewer) in United States,

The Walmart near me put this set out two weeks early, and I was able to pick one up for myself. After building it and putting it in a vase, I can honestly say this is one of the best sets from the Botanical collection.

The flowers themselves are masterfully done. They look amazing on display, though you can still tell that they are LEGO close up. There was a lot of repetition in the build, so those who would get bored by that may need to take note. But the final result is worth the tediousness. The number of parts you get is also well worth the price. The recolors of the crown piece from The LEGO Movie 2 sets, recolors of a classic pirate hat, and the numerous oars you get make this set worth getting even if you have no intention of building this set.

In conclusion, this set is fantastic for any LEGO builder. Even if you don't want to build it, it is also a fantastic parts pack that is honestly a steal at $60.

    Colorful forever blooming bouquet

    Written by (AFOL) in Hungary,

I grabbed the set on sale. From the existing botanical line, I prefer this colour scheme to the other bouquet.

The building experience was OK, as I only built one of each flower and separated the parts into a compartment with dividers to assemble later. Most of the flowers have repetitive steps that can be relaxing but also tedious, so I decided to only build one of each as I tried to prevent getting bored with building them.

Most of the flowers are top-heavy, so I had to put some counterbalance in my plastic cup as I do not own a glass vase, but the end result looks great at the end.

Overall, I think this is a great set to gift to non-Lego fans. It could be good to build it with someone, as there is repetition regarding building 2-3 of the same flowers but only one booklet, so you have to figure out how to implement the building together experience.

I don't regret getting the set, it looks great on a desk, blooms forever.
