Today's random set is 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge, released in 2006. It's one of 14 Star Wars sets produced that year. It contains 781 pieces and 8 minifigs, and its retail price was US$74.99/£59.99.
It's owned by 5498 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you might find it for sale at BrickLink or eBay.

One of my favorite star wars sets
Epic Star Wars scene, the build looks kinda basic, but it is very efective, we can really imagine the real scene going on, Lando screaming "a little bit higher" to Han Solo when sliding on the sand towards Scarlacc's stomach! Yes, Return of Jedi is my favorite Star Wars movie lol

Beak or No beak?
I am No Beak.
Not a fan of the STAMPs (STickers Across Multiple Parts) on the outside tiles (this set was released well before the 2x3 tile design was introduced), but otherwise really enjoyed this set and its playability.
@MCLegoboy Team no beak for me. To me the Sarlacc is just infinitely scarier when it's this inexplicable tunnel-mouth stretching down into the sand, lined with teeth. Giving it a CGI beak just turned it into a generic monster, as far as I'm concerned.
No beak. Some things got silly with the Special Edition movies. Would like to see a version of this get with those battle sets like with recent Endor and Hoth base. Shooting Boba off the skiff and blowing the barge in half would be fun play features. Maybe they could go “Ultimate” with Jabba’s palace, like with Cloud City, and give us one of those mini versions of the barge. Or a brick built Rancor-Gamorrean mech thing.
I own the newer 75020 version, which is also a great set, but I always liked the overall shape of the 6210 sailbarge better. The front of the 6210 is much more like the real thing and it comes with a desert skiff too.
Remember getting this set as a kid, I absolutely loved it as it may have been my biggest one at the time. Sadly, a lot of the stickers are peeling off now, but its still a great Star Wars set.

@boneheadhh1: This probably says more about me than about the 2006 Star Wars sets, but I've always been strangely fascinated by them largely because they're the only SW sets with numbers in the 6000's...
I got this as a gift from some friends after adding it to my wedding registry. Best wedding present ever.

@oldfan: actually, this set has NO STAMPs at all. Those are all tiles with hinges, and all one piece. It’s a great set for sure; I still have mine entitely built up. I have 75020 still sealed in the box, but I’ve not yet seen any reason to build that one up to replace this version.
Better than the newer one I think.
I really don't know which one is the best, this one or the more recent. All I know is that both are so great. I really wish I had one of them!

Got this for Christmas in 2006 - still love it, especially the skiff guard Lando minifig.
It’s only bad point is that it didn’t come with the cool Max Rebo and Ree Yees figs that 75020 had!

This beauty has it's stickers being peeled off but I love it still.

My preferences are weird, now that I think about it. I hate seeing the beak in the movie, but to me, a Lego Sarlacc doesn't seem right without it.
Oh hey, there's a familiar set! I got this one on my last annual Legoland trip; my parents used to take me and a friend of my choice there as a birthday gift every year, up until the age where I started counting for adult ticket prices. And I guess I'd got a lot of birthday money that year, because I splurged just about all of it on this set during that visit.
I spent much of the early next morning building this and reading the Star Wars novel I'd also got for that birthday (Vision of the Future, by Timothy Zahn, for anyone who wondered; that was back when I was catching up on most of the old SW novels that I'd missed ^^). I feel like I found the build a bit of a dull experience at the time; but the end result was certainly worth it.
@alldarker - I dunno if the one you owned was different, but mine definitely had STAMPs. The hinged tiles were each a single piece, like you say; but where instances of those same stickers continued around the curved back of the barge, past where the hinged parts ended, there they were each across two plates on the version I owned.
I've always wanted this set ... but I don't have it. I think it's still awesome.
I really like 75020, it's in my top 25 sets probably, but I really like this just for the nostalgia.
Also, add some tentacles and I think this Sarlacc is better than the other two.
I also own the 75020 version, having missed out on this one - not exactly during my Dark Ages but hardly bought any LEGO at the time. Also agree that the bow on this version is much more realistic, w/the angle on the 2013 remake being too severe. The Jabba figure did greatly improve, however.

75020 is the overall better set, I'd say - shape, figures, play features. But those cloth sails are still great!
I was 8 years old when this set came out and wanted it more than anything else. I had dreams about going to Toys R Us just to look at it on the shelf. I drew pictures of it too lmao. For my birthday in 2007 I got a gift that was obviously a large Lego set from the sounds of it when I shook it. When I opened it up, it was a Y-Wing. I was disappointed but was still excited to build a cool ship, nonetheless.
Then the newer sail barge came out during my dark age. I still never got one.
Alldarker, I think you might be wrong about the stickers. I have build this set several times and everytime when I disassemble it i have to put the 2x2 and 1x2 tiles on a larger plate to prevent the stickers from breaking between the tiles.
Great set, by the way, one of the best Star Wars sets ever.
This is a pretty good set, but it doesn't have max rebo so it's automatically worse than the newest one
I really like that they still included the original Jabba and Gamorrean molds for this set. Unlike nowadays constant minimal changes that really make it hard to come up with a consistent style across your displays.
It was actually a nice set to both display and play with. My only concern is (although that is related to it's original price) that is somewhat out of scale. Though this issue seems to become even more troublesome in all licensed LEGO themes since (especially with Speeder Bike-esque models which I really don't understand).

I'm a fan of beak personally because I grew up with the special editions. however I absolutely hate the newest desert skiffs beak. it keeps breaking!
