Build a plane in just two steps? 3 year olds must have been absolute geniuses back in the 70s.
A Minecraft part, a Minecraft Minifig, and if you squint real hard you could make this pass as a Minecraft set... maybe
I like that sewing machine, it's pretty cute.
Appreciate the gondola.

Yes, sir. I will appreciate the gondola.
2-digit set number from the 1970s hits hard on the nostalgia!

I mean, it looks about as aerodynamic as an anvil with an anchor chained to it, but sure.
We went from last week a Basic Building Set, 3+, to a Basic Building Set, 3+ this week!
20% LEGO, 80% Imagination!
Boats, planes and automobiles!
(and a gas station, a sewing machine, a kimono, and so much more...only limited by your own imagination!)
3+ > 4+
More vehicles!
Not actually a Minecraft set but has the same “endless imagination from simple block foundation” that Minecraft and Lego both fundamentally run on, so I’m willing to call this an honorary trifecta…even if no one else is
I guess I jinxed it. No trifecta today. *sad trombone noises*
Pulls into gas station:
In a whisper "Honey... isn't that the same man from the gondola?"

That would have been fun, but check carefully, the girl from the gondola is now posing as the gas station attendant.
Maybe they are role-playing?
My very first LEGO set ever! I am old.

Dad?
Those slab-like green base plates!!! And the maxi figures, with their reversible wigs!
My formative Lego era…
One of my first sets was 113, the US version of this one. Many fond memories in my early LEGO days...
