*Screaming intensifies*

That's got to be the creepiest minifigure ever, even worse than the normal Nesquik bunny. This one has a deformed body shaped to fit into a tiny car seat.

@MCLegoboy nah this is one of the scenes in the movie. He unfortunately had to sacrifice his creepy looks only to to become even more creepy, just for one car chase scene!

Yes because nothing says yummy choco milk like tires burning in a barrel behind the galvanised fence of a ghetto.

I got that little guy last year (and it was sealed!) and it is one of my favorite sets now, minifigure too.

By in Australia,

One of Just2Good's creepiest minifigures of all time. I'm inclined to agree. Even if you leave the bunny head on, it's really creepy.

Didn’t we recently get the Nesquik Bunny random minfig of the day? It’s a sign. $199 Lego Icons set of a container of Nesquik mix confirmed. Filled brown studs? This joke is wearing out.

That’s exactly what the hotdog carts smell like on the streets of NYC.

201 people own it... and 345 want it. I think we need to stage an intervention. Despite almost hitting the trifecta today (I have today's Random Part and Minifig) I think I'm okay with missing it on this particular occasion. Also, those ears can't be aerodynamic at all; bet he loses most of his races.

If you mean NYC street hot dog water, I’d suggest following that up with an hour in a bleach bath for every second spent in the hot dog water, just as a precautionary measure.

Man, this was such a wild era. Only in 2002!
And hey, it gve more of those beautiful face and head parts to the word!

By in Turkey,

Those compact pullback motors had so much potential but I've never seen it being used in a city or space set. Now that the cars and trucks are 6 to 8 studs wide maybe they can be used in new sets. Maybe they can be used in Sports Champions sets.

What's in the tank, Quicky? Ah, Nightmare Fuel? Yeah, that checks out.

Yup, I remember when Quiky the Rabbit won the Drome Championship from reigning champ Max Axel.

Axel never saw that corner coming...

Just remember that this version is also eligible for RMotD. Oh, and that the other version was not removed from the pool RSotD-style when it got picked before, so it can get picked again. In theory, it could get picked two or more days in a row.

I love this minifig at least as much as most of you hate it. It's one of my favorites that Lego has ever made.

When I designed my Star Wars-themed Sig Fig in the early 00's, I chose this bunny head to create a Chewbacca-like sidekick for him. I placed the head on a different torso and legs, and the design of the rabbit head makes him noticeably taller than most minifigs, which is the effect I wanted, while still being able to walk and sit down like a normal minifig.

My giant rabbit minifig is named Harvey, which is an homage to the classic Jimmy Stewart film.

Anyway, I created a bunch of custom Sig Fig packs back in 2022, and this Racers set was ideal because I only needed the rabbit heads without the pricey torso, and I found someone selling dozens of these polybags. I bought them all, and while I've given away most of the Sig Fig packs, I still have dozens of these little pullback racers leftover, which are kind of fun.

Warning: If you buy this set still sealed, you'll probably want to replace the tires. Every polybag I opened had a greasy quality to the tires, and I ended up washing all of the pieces (including the minifig) to get rid of the greasiness. The regular pieces came out fine, but the tires remained a little greasy, so I threw them away and replaced them. (The same Lego tires are still produced, and they're relatively cheap.)

If they made the long woody or avatar legs in brown the minifigure version would be perfect

Kill it with fire, then Nuke the site from orbit. Finally, blow up the planet with the Death Star to avoid it's atoms contaminating the Universe!

It's the ONLY way to be sure.

So glad I entered my dark ages in time to avoid this.

By in Netherlands,

TIL that the N is a sticker, and many of the parts also had tiny stickers for weird details. You can see the result on Bricklink

By in Netherlands,

Fun (but useless) fact: the background for 4299 is reused from set 4582 Red Bullet. For Drome Racers it was not common to reuse backgrounds at all, so that's quite strange!

EDIT: The other reuses I could find are:
4584 and 4297 and 4590
and
4308 and 8360.
and
4309 and 8358

Not bad for a theme with 53 sets!
You're welcome, random Brickset user! ;)
