Random set of the day: Sunshine Picture Stand

Today's random set is 7525 Sunshine Picture Stand, released during 2004. It's one of 40 Clikits sets produced that year. It contains 22 pieces, and its retail price was US$5/£4.99.
It's owned by 73 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $5.30, or eBay.

Upon seeing the name, the first thing that came to mind was this:
Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake!

Oh, need to have a Clikts set in my collection, as long as the used market has any!
They're really stretching the contents of that set to attempt to present it as a viable tic-tac-toe board.

Of the 40 Clikits sets released (or at least listed) that year, this makes 15 that have already been RSotD. A further 11 are ineligible due to having piece counts ranging from 1-9. The Advent Calendar should be eligible, but doesn't list a piece count at all. There are seven Bonus/Value Packs, which I can't remember for sure, but I don't think they're allowed. This leaves only six more sets that are clearly eligible from 2004. By 2050, I don't think there will be any Clikits sets left to pick, so they may well have faded into obscurity by then.
Clikits is so much cooler than people give it credit for (and more compatible with system than people realise). I finally managed to get ahold of a lot a few months ago
@PurpleDave That’s ok, the algorithm can be modified to reintroduce Clikits once they are all selected.
I am positive there would be demand for that.

This would've made for a cool minifig or minidoll. And given TLG's love for deep cuts, I can definitely see this design making a return in a CMF or in a Friends-outfit, though preferably without having those weird tentacles attached to the hands. They just make the claws look weird and unnatural, you know?
As for Clikits, well - moved on; moving on.

I'm not seeing anything more than a passing resemblance, which is easier done than said. That is not the Sunshine-remake we need or deserve. Even though none of us knew we needed or deserved a remake up until now.

I've been here longer than you think, when i wasn't a member. I don't know why i didn't join earlier. I think it was because i didn't visit the site enough, Now i'm on it daily and haven't looked back.
