Hey, look! Flags! Flags that have never, and probably will never, be released in any official LEGO set! You know, like that little thumbnail in the lower right corner of the package.

Feels like an unfair game with those hand extensions. And who even told minifigs what hands were anyway? These should be giant claws!

By in New Zealand,

Ooh I have this one. It was fun enough. The hands are weird though.

And hand extensions is what he went by in '80. Well, hand extension. Just the right hand.

Shoot 'N' Save sounds like a discount gun and ammunition store

@PurpleDave: The Canadian 'flag' was done in the Canadian variant of the '78 "Coast Guard Platform"...think the U.S. one is likewise w/that country's version...too bad TLG don't make a "flag compatible" sticker sheet/set w/the various countries of the world; but they won't even do a follow up to 853921: Brick Stickers...which stinks:|

By in Turkey,

Crafty little set, with motor too.

By in Netherlands,

Believe it or not, but this one is the one that comes to mind the most when I think of the 2002 football theme.
I'm glad it's a RSOTD now. :)

7-11’s main competitor. Not very profitable, since most of their customers just rob them instead of paying.

@brick_r:
Oh, US, Canada, UK, sure. I think Germany and the Scandinavian flags as well. Brazil, though? South Korea? If that’s the current Russian flag, I think we can rule that out, too.

By in Poland,

I'm not a fan of football but still it was cool to see what minifigs do in their free time when they're not chasing escaped prisoners, fighting fires and building roads.

Or a particularly volatile buddy cop duo

Go to the grocery store.

Fire at a board to get your discount coupon.

Shoot ‘n’ Save.

There are two different sized ones, the massive ones that practically fill up the whole goal, and slightly smaller ones,
Think they are supposed to reprosent Goalie Gloves, game also works just fine leaving them off

Have this somewhere in pretty decent condition (even the gloves which is surprising) only issue is the motor that moves the goalie side to side has lost its power to do so, so converted it in to a 2 player game where the second player uses a stick to control the keeper.

By in Netherlands,

The title reminds me of basically every outcome of the Great NES Title Generator Wheel, to go with "Rush 'n Attack", "Ghosts 'n Goblins", "Rock 'n Ball", "Chack 'n Pop", "Bump 'n Jump", "Snake, Rattle 'n Roll" and of course, "Crash 'n The Boys". Slowly, surely, the apostrophes crept up on us, and nobody noticed until it was too late.

It would later be known as the Great '80s Catastapostrophe [citation needed].

@ICAbricks:
No stickers. You might be thinking of the team busses, where all the minifigs were blank, but you got enough stickers to outfit several full national teams.

the sports sets were fun.

@legodachi and @PurpleDave: Wouldn't that be "Ammu-Nation"...then, would 'this' be 'Lego: G.T.A.'...:)

No image, but I know which this is--I did/do own it. It was my first Soccer set... could've been my last (I liked them at the time more than I ought to have, but it was only my growing teenage allowance that allowed room for them in the era of early Star Wars and Bionicle)---

Oh wait, I DON'T own this--I'm thinking of Shoot n SCORE. Totally different. Maybe images would help...

No, but there really is an image! It's down in the lower right corner. Lower. And righter. Yeah, that's it. Maybe one of these would help:

I don't think I'm THAT old yet (though I did go on about this having been in my teen years...), but I needed my glasses to see that.
