Walk of Hope 2024

Step forward to help find a cure for brain tumours

When is Walk of Hope?

Walk of Hope takes place on Saturday 28th September 2024, or you can organise your own Walk of Hope any day that suits you.

What is Walk of Hope?

Walk of Hope is our annual national event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families. Every September, hundreds of supporters join our Walk of Hope events or organise their own walks in their community, set up fundraising pages and make donations to help find a cure for brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.

Will you step forward in 2024 to help find a cure?

How can I get involved?

Join one of our Walk of Hope events taking place in London, Motherwell, Torpoint, Ellesmere and Chatsworth House, or organise your own wherever you are.

Over the years, Walk of Hope has grown into one of our most popular events and attracts thousands of supporters who step forward together with one common goal: to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. More than 3,000 people took part in 2023, raising an incredible sum of more than £300,000 to support our vital work.

The money raised through Walk of Hope over the years has helped to raise awareness of this devastating disease, supported our campaigning for the Government and larger charities to invest more, and funded ground-breaking research at our network of Centres of Excellence where scientists are focused on improving treatments for patients and, ultimately, finding a cure.

The ask is simple: join one of our Walk of Hope events or organise your own and raise funds and awareness for Brain Tumour Research. Step forward to help find a cure for brain tumours and bring hope to the one in three people who knows someone affected by this devastating disease.
